Seedsman Seeds White Widow: Grew fast from the beginning of veg but in a mostly indica shape/style even though Seedsman Seeds White Widow is predominantly sativa. Vegging under a MH it had very close very tight growth and it got fairly wide. I vegged too 20 inches.

While in flower its speed of growth seemed to slow down and the three other strains, that it had outclassed up until then, overtook it making the White Widow seem to be the slow poke in the crowd. In the end it had caught back up to the others and ended up a little over 60 inches tall. I don’t measure and weigh things but it had a large heavy very respectable cola. Many of the other buds were definitely respectable in size and all were thick dense buds.

I tended to push mine pretty heavy when it came to the nutes and the Seedsman Seeds White Widow took it pretty well. I ended up with one small tip of one finger of one leaf with a tiny bit of burn and that was all and that was feeding them pretty heavily. It seems to be a very easy to grow very forgiving strain.

The plants had a lot of frost on them and for a while I though it might make a good strain for someone to grow who would then make hash from the trim. When I looked at the trichomes on the leaves I was a bit surprised. Most of them were just trichome stalks, headless trichomes. Looking at the leaves with the human eye they looked all white and covered in trichomes but at least on mine there would not have been a whole lot of trichome-heads to knock off of the trim to make hash from. Maybe I just missed it but the buds did not seem to be the same but the leaves were lacking heads on many of the trichomes.

The high was pretty good. It wasn’t great, the strain won’t be winning any competitions but considering the price of the beans and the high they gave and the respectable yield the results were impressive and I consider it to be a value strain and a good choice for people new to growing or making their first pro breeder bean purchase after having grown some bagseed but who still are not ready to spend a great deal of money.

Like all White Widow strains I have ever smoked this one’s taste is no real taste treat and even cured can be a bit harsh, though not bad .. just a tad bit.

One reason I decided to try it is because it is predominantly sativa and it does give a give a decent amount of head high so that is one reason why I like it better than the other White Widow knockoffs I have grown.

As for the other stains you asked about … I know nothing about them and being Nirvana strains I will never be growing them to then gain some experience with them.

Good luck!
