Pre-school circa 2014. Driving my 4 year old to the local preschool we typically listened to (and sang along with) pop radio on the way in. Every morning all the children would line up outside and walk in, the director would say "Good morning." morning to each child and they were instructed to reply, "Good morning, Ms. Lori."

This particular morning me and mine had been out and about early getting stuff done and jamming tunes on the radio since about 8, then it came time to drop the child off at 11, just as lunchtime-radio was kicking into energetic music mode. We pull up, I remove the 10 clamps holding the child in her seat and aim her at the student line which was already moving.

All the kids are quietly waiting in line, mines in the very back still grooving to the music in her head. She gets up to the director and the director says, "Good morning." My little blond ball of fluff looked up at the director, raised her first in the air as if in protest and yelled,

"TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!" and rocked into the classroom.
Proudest moment of my life.

Our adorable 4 year old son was riding in traffic with his grandfather one day and as my Dad got frustrated with the traffic my son dropped this little bit of wisdom. He said " just tell them to get the F*** out of the way, that's what my Dad does". Needless to say the conversation was repeated to me by my Dad several times over the next several years :bigjoint:

My mom came to visit who was a good god fearing woman when my daughter was less than 2 years old. My wife was driving her somewhere and someone cut her off, my little blond girl piped off with "asshole" from the back seat. I got the blame for it.

My 4 year old grandson …. twice this year in pre K had to wait in the principal’s office because he had his pants down on the playground. 1st time was the first week of school he simply took a piss over in the corner. The second he and a little girl was mooning each other…. I’m not sure who started it but it was funny as hell. Btw mooning is a bit of a family tradition so I’m not sure if it’s a learned behavior or just in his Jean pool but I insisted he not get in trouble. That’s my boy .

PS he is expecting a sibling on Christmas Day, we’re not sure if it’s a boy or a girl yet.
