Considering a legal MMJ grow in commercial space in MIchigan. small operation. just to get it out of house. Wife hates it here and have kids nearing the age of I dont want them to see it.

many many years experience growing the ganja.

however, I found perfect space for mmj grow, but am afraid landlord isnt 420 friendly. I didnt ask but can tell probably not.

Ive daydreamed of commercial space for years, higher ceilings, DE fixtures, etc but am concerned about security etc.

My main question is, Does fire department do random inspections? insurance companies? city assessors?

I am concerned because I am well within the law 90% of the time, but have overages, pheno hunt excess clones from time to time and am not perfect with accounting etc. It will get better but Im sure i wont be perfect until settled in and like clockwork.

long story short, i hate to have a random inspection on a day I have excess overages or clones. and either LEO or landlord is tipped off

Renting your grow space is probably not a good idea. Because you don't control the landlord's access 100% of the time.

Owning your grow space is the only way to grow, IMHO.

Total foolishness. You will end up busted or having cops all over your legal side. Lying or not fully disclosing are all the reasons needed to evict you according to state laws and/or sue you for the costs involved to do so.
