Okay, thanks, they just appeared to be tiny white hairs compared to the rest of the new growth. As it stands, if I continue 12/12, how long do you think it’ll be before I see actual pistols?
Hey, I was gone over the weekend, and came back and there was definitely a significant amount of growth. Here’s the updated view from the top and sides, let me know if there’s anything new you notice about the possible sex, thanks!Depends on the strain. but typically a few days to a week. Note that if the plant is male, it will start showing pollen sacks instead of pistils. Just update your post here in a couple to few days with new pictures and we'll help you identify the sex.

Here’s a couple days later, probably still to early, just wanted to share the growth either way, but I think I do see new growth at the base of the top branches, unsure of what they are yet.
They aren't sexually mature until they start setting alternate leaf/stem. As long as they are opposite they are to young.
Could you explain what alternate in that sense means?

Or like how can I confirm they’re pistils, like Will a lot show up at once or? Because when the new branches at the base formed, they appeared to be pistils, until they started growing leaves.
It honestly depends on the strain, some won’t show until they’re in flower. Then some will show a preflower while in veg.
Well, I can’t remember the exact date, I didn’t write it down, but it’s been on the 12/12 cycle for at least 3 weeks or so now, 2 and a halfish at the least.
It’s my first grow, and I didn’t exactly start off with the right or strongest equipment (MG advanced potting mix, a simple dual head grow lamp off amazon, and a makeshift grow box out of cardboard boxes and foil lined inside. Not anywhere correct likely, but I honestly never expected it to sprout, so I’m proud of it so far.
