Pistils Browning/ Calyx Swelling? Week 7 :600w Coco Grow

Kia ora fellow Plant people, looking for a bit of general advice on where I’m at currently in the grow ( week 7 day 3 of 12/12) and what I could do to optimise my growing methods for my girls.

Here’s the setup. 1.2m square by 2m tall grow tent. 600w nanolux dimable hps. (Ballast inside tent) standard wing shade reflector ( don’t have specs atm) 150mm exhaust fan that extracts 460 meters cube per hour. Temps at 24c and humidity is at 68 on average ( can’t manage to get it down with damp autumn weather and no dehumidifier) Medium is Canna Coco in 40l plastic pots being bottom fed with RO water Nutrifield a and b coco range to the recommended feed, but my ec is still on the low side 0.9

Concerns: Slowish growth, would expect the calyxs to be filling in a bit more by now. Have noticed the lower flowers are fattening out faster then the main colas, I suspect the main colas are too close to the light although there is no visible burn or crisping of leaves (maybe some slight foxtailing)
These are clones but I’m not sure of the strains. Wanting to know opinions on ripening time and how long till the buds really fatten out.

Cheers guys, all help appreciated.

edit. they may get ripe. last time I had foxtailing from light I got tired of waiting. and harvested when my lower buds were 20% amber... 2 weeks after I expected to be done on a strain I grew exclusively for 2 years. lesson learned. better to flip to early than to late when in a tent

I think youve lost a lot of yeild and at best just get some homegrown lower bud. Anything stretched looks problematic, the rest i would assume should be ready in two to three weeks in an ideal world. At some point your going to have to cut your losses.

Cheers for the feedback, so stretched colas wont eventually fill out? Do you think it would be worth it taking them to week 10? That is the plan at the moment. Do you mean cut your loses as in wait for the lower non stretch/foxtail buds to ripen and harvest the lot then and not worry about the colas filling out because they may not?

If the stretched buds dont ripen then its probably a lost cause.

Buds dont so much fill in as swell, if they arent solid buds they never will be.

Let it go to week ten, thats harvest time for me. 8 weeks flower and 2 weeks for the flip/preflower.

Get your next veg plants ready to replace these in a few weeks.

Mainly stretched foxtailed buds take an age to finish and some never get that far or constantly push out new growth.

You should still get plenty of weed to smoke, cant say much for the quality but if you dont mind some lower quality you should have enough to get you through to the next harvest.

Theres not a lot of positives here but you can still come out with somthing. At this stage were hoping the pistils will start changing colour so you know what to look at.

Hit me up in a couple weeks and we will see what you got and what your options are.

If you could reduce your dark cycle temperature by 10 to 15 degrees F, might speed up the ripening process. It looks to me like you have a 2-3 weeks left, can you take a more detailed picture?

Will try get a better picture, thanks for the input guys. Night time temps are down but I’m still battling with humidity. 70rh, no good.

Its very rare i see anyone with 70% humidity in a grow room, i cant guess why.

If your tent is in a room whats the humidity of the room?

Its 76 in The room the tent is in. we’re coming into autumn so it’s very damp in the room I have my tent setup in. Manage to get it into the mid 60 range throughout the day with fans airing out the room, this is a bad humidity for flower but I’m struggling without a dehumidifier.

Was thinking it’s sativa dom, sucks when you don’t know what genetics your working with. That slight foxtailing is my main concern.
