You should look into an aerocloner. I built one out of a 5 gal bucket for under 35$ including the 25$ pump.

I get roots 8 to 10 days on average. This strain of afghan kush im running i got roots in 4 days. Was nuts. Clones never die and flower ready 20" plants in a 4-5 weeks.
I get the same results with clonex and ff hf soil bro

You guys have inspired me to start building my own recirc dwc. I have most of what I need already on hand. I could just keep on doing my single-res dwc like I have been but I know I could get even better results & be less hassle if the nute-water solution was constantly moving. Either way I admire what y'all are doing. Thanks for the inspiration.

I failed to make it easy to get access to my current res so the main res is a big plus. Churn up them nutrients and keep the solution evenly ph-ed...I'm diggin it! One question though, I notice you have 2 pumps...will they push an even amount of solution to all the buckets? Am I correct in guessing there is one pump in the main res pushing the solution and the other pump is pulling from the bottom hole on the last bucket and returns it to the main res? ok so thats two questions...bongsmilie

1 pump goes to the chiller I wouldn't do this with out because the water/nutes would get to hot I plan on keeping temps in 60s
the other pump will circulate the water threw the buckets and rez

Right, of course, the other pump is for the chiller.... I'm not using one now & my res temp stays about 67 deg....hmm something I should look into? I see many other growers on RIU are using a chiller but I'm not sure the expense is justified. If my res temps are relatively stable due to the location of my grow & low ambient temps, should I still invest in a chiller?

If your not having problems dont buy one
high rez temps can lead to algea, pythium, and root rot all can kill a plant

That is good news. I don't even use ice or frozen water bottles. If I drop a pool thermometer in my res it usually reads about 67 just from being on the cold stone floor which always stays cool, even in hot summer weather. One big advantage of a basement grow. Thanks for the help, now I know what to do.

Eh it's all good. The pics do that to me sometimes when I upload too. Check your nitrogen levels. I see yellowing going on

Haha, same here homie..never really journaled anything. I usually come here to show others my progress with a particular strain I've never grown.
