"Pinching tips" of the plant once it's in the plot?

I looked into Kog - A Growers Lot and it was really useful, but I didn't quite understand what he meant by "pinching the tips" of the plant straight after it's been put into the final outside plot after veg.

it just means topping the plant. theres plenty of info on here how to do it.

just pinch of the new growth tips to create 2 branches instead of one.
