Pinching, good idea or not in 2 week of flowering

is it a good idea to pinch and bend over top stem in flowering stage 2 weeks in. plants are getting to close to light, want to give them room to strech

No. Your plants will stop flowering to mend the area you pinched resulting in less of a yield. You should top plants while there in veg so you can let them recover before flowering.

Im sure there is people that have topped while in flower but i wouldnt personally advise it.

if you can avoid it i would but if you have no choice then go ahead it shouldnt effect it to much...may slow growth for a day if you do it right shouldnt effect at all...we are talking about suppercropping...i supercrop and with in a couple hrs it starts to correct itself...

If your talking about removing a top, it is best to this with at least a week, preferably two, still left in veg. This gives the hormones, called auxins I think, time to redistribute. As far as bending, I will pinch and bend my buds through the first month or so of flower as I sometimes need to keep them from getting too close to the light. I don't bend anymore than I need to and it dosent effect the yield. If you are bending to supercrop (increase yield), I think that needs to be done while in veg or very early flower.
