pictures of my new garden, throw me some feedback

This is my first grow.
I have 5 feminized Strawberry Ice seeds that were just planted... about a week ago or so.



there's just a picture of the setup, you can't really see the little seedlings, my camera sucks.

I have three CFL's about 2.5 inches above the tops of the plants. I plan on getting more lighting as i get more money.

The area they are growing in is closed off with cardboard, then covered with a blanket. I have a shitty little humidifier inside there, and also a space heater to keep the area warm because it's in my cold basement.

here's a pick of one of the biggest of the seedlings.



one of my concerns is that one of the seedlings has a very small spot of yellow on the edge of one of the leaves. i don't assume this is a huge issue, but i'm not quite sure what it could be. something in relation to the small amount of fertilizers in the soil? or over watering? the pH is good.

anyway's, if anyone has any advice or criticizm on how i'm doing or how to make the grow area better it would be really appreciated. i'm fucking super excited to be growing my own weed. lemme know what ya think.

Hopefully you havent started feeding them with nutes yet? Im not sure what the yellow spot could be from but if you hit up my sig talk to tom_420 he is a good place to start. On my first grow to super excited!:mrgreen:

well there is a very small amount of nutrients in the soil. something like .09%, .04%, & .06% P, N, and K, respectively. i found out i wasn't supposed to use nutes the first few weeks of growing after i had bought this huge bag of soil. but this can't be that terrible can it?

No you should be fine. Just don't go add more nutes to your medium. lil fyi I am a first time grower myself have very few answers for you but if I can help let me know and Ill give you as much as I fell confident in telling you.

Well about the soil....most soils have a very small amount of nutes in them which is totally normal. I was just referring to adding more nutes that was all.
