Just postin a pic of my ladies in some LC's soiless mix #1. Compared to my last grow with generic soil these are doing great. They r clones of my first grow and just about rdy to start flowering. I have 2 femmed Jock Horrors that are about 4 weeks old now. They're not in the pic. These r just bag seed. Thanks to Wetdog for gettin me goin in the right direction with organics and many others

Looking good man! I'm all about organics, too. That's the way to go. Slow release makes it hard to burn, yet always a good store in the soil for your plants to absorb. What kind of organic nutes are you using?

Also, how are you doing on light/fans/ventiliation? And I can't tell if that's garage/basement or a closet grow?

I mixed in bone, blood, and kelp meal. Dolomite lime also. Mixed it all together and watered it with some molasses and inoculated it with Mycogrow. Its growin in a basement and the rooms are still a work in process. Just need a few more finishing touches. I have a seperate room for vegging and clones and flowering. I have 3 400w MH for veg, two 250w MH for seedlings and clones and the flower room i have four 400w HPS. I would like to upgrade the flower room to 1000w HPS's eventually. I havnt worked in the ventilation yet but its on the top of my list cause it gets pretty hot down there sometimes. I have 4 oscillating fans.

Oh and im growing them in the reusable walmart bags. Im thinkin maybe they'll work for cheaper smart pots, and cheap as hell also

Sounds like you're good on equipment ... Although I agree upgrading to 1,000 watt lights will be a great move, considering you sound very serious about producing solid indoor results. You will def experience more yield and it will help you reach full genetic potential for potency. Just make sure you have all the proper hoods & vortex fans hooked up, cuz that will def generate some more heat in your rooms.

Have you looked into CO2 enrichment? That can double to triple the yields you would normally see without. Worth every penny.

No i havnt even started to look into that. I dont want to get started messin with that until i get my rooms and ventilation the way i want. Then ill def look into c02 if its gona double my yeilds. Thanks for the info. I did not know that it had that big of impact on growing. What are the prices c02 systems run?

CO2 will increase your yield, but not double it. That's wishful thinking. LOL

Figure ~$2k+ for a decent system.

Get your ventilation right first. With good ventilation, there is little need for CO2.

A lot of people start with the CO2 tanks which can be refilled at local shops in your area. These will typically range from $100-300 pending on what size you get, and refills are around $40-80. This all adds up over time tho, so most people who want to take CO2 seriously will end up buying a CO2 burner kit (propane or natural gas burning). My greenhouse for example does not have the room for such equipment, but it is air sealed, so I can time release some CO2 in there with tanks and with the sun as my light source, it will make a huge difference. Same with indoor.

I agree with what wetdog says about ventilation being a big factor. Good airflow/ventilation is supposed to be an equally important factor as your lighting. CO2 really can help double yiels tho. It depends. But in most cases. The reason for this, is that while every strain has it's own genetic threshold for yield/potency, most people do not hit the 100% benchmark of full potential. Lets say you're @ 50-60% genetic potential for indoor yield @ .5-.6g per watt with pretty stony bud. If you have all your other envionmental & nutrient factors in check, and kick in the CO2, you should be able to get most strains up to 1g per watt and see a significant different in the rate of growth, as well as trich production. It's all about trying to reach that full potential. If you are an experienced grower, you may not see AS BIG of a difference, but will still make a noticeable improvement in any garden and money well spent! =)

Cheers!

yea so far they r workin great. Only 50 cents a bag. Cant wait to c the root ball when im finished. I start them in party cups and then transplant them to the bags. After 2 or 3 days in the bag they take off and never stop
