I just adopted a kitty today from the shelter today... but unfortunately I can't take her home for another week! :( She has an upper respiratory infection and has to get spayed... poor thing has been sick at the shelter for a month now. But she is just the most precious floppy ball of fluff I've ever seen... and I'm not even a cat person! I can't contain my excitement lol.. this is about to be the longest week ever!
My baby kitty gets her surgery tomorrow!! And I get to pick her up on thursday... so excited!! :D Still need to think of a name...

This is Ginny, I found her with her dead kid, both had been shot, she took the brunt of it in the face and has no eyes and she was also pregnant.CAM00384.jpgCAM00382.jpgCAM00381.jpg
She goes out every morning and comes when called in the evening although I have to go get her if she loses her bearings.

Thanks Bygon, hopefully all goes well with the kitty:)
There's a lot of wild goats here where I live but unfortunately are seen as vermin by farmers who don't want them eating their precious grass so they are rounded up illegally and shot, hardly anyone is ever convicted and on the very rare occassion they are it's usually a paltry fine, animal welfare laws are really weak here, considered a misdemeanour which is a disgrace.
In Ginnys case after I made some enquiries I found out she was shot for target practise basically, with the trauma of the shooting she almost starved to death because she wouldn't eat but luckily she did eventually and she grazes all day and has beocme really tame and manages quite well getting around.

I didn't spot the dirt on him in the pic, he had a good ol' roll for himself, my girl would have a field day in the woods, she would be rolling in bear poop at every opportunity:)

You should let her loose around here.

You could lose a smallish dog in some of the piles these buggers leave.

Haha no thanks, here she is limited to horse/donkey, badger, fox , sheep and goat etc and it's no fun having to wash her each time.
On a walk she will fall behind and all it takes is 5 seconds and she has her neck and head covered.

This is Luna, I brought her home yesterday! :D She's a little love bug but very untrusting of people... poor thing, the only human contact she's had was pretty much to give her medication and vet visits. She's warmed up a lot since yesterday and is just the sweetest little thing ever! But... she does spend the vast majority of the time under the couch lol
