i've had strains i let go for up to 4 weeks more than breeders recommendation and still never saw amber.. trichs tell part of the story.. but certainly not the whole story..

cloudy is good.. its where you want it supposedly.. how many days has it been flowering for in total now?

See now, I have scoped out my bud and I have cloudy trichomes. No amber.....what to do?

Well it has been flowering for exactly 49 days..........its an autoflower. I was thinking on cutting it when it hits 60 days flowering! Any other opinions would be great too hear!!!!!!!

If you want to get high harvest plant when it has more milky (cloudy) trichomes (80% milky and 20% amber), if you want to be stoned than harvest plant when it has more amber trichomes (the best 50% milky and 50% amber). I like to be more high then stoned.

Use your scope and watch. Here is what you have to know

Well I started its first flush 3 days ago. One thing. I think I might not do this flushing thing, reason: I was reading a couple of forums of the pros and cons of flushing. Really you don't have to flush your plants as long as the dry properly and cured correctly. I might not flush, give me your input!

thats an auto? i thought mine was big yours puts mine to shame. what kind of set-up are you running? I'd say you can wait a week or so. I think she could pack on some more weight, not that she doesn't look huge now. But yeah autos tend not to show any real amber, learned this myself.

Yeah its an auto. Well I'm running only a 250HPS with fox farm soil and nutrients in a 3 gallon bucket with extra perlite and thats all. A few fans in the grow room and thats all. Right now she will not get bigger than where she is.....she is 3 feet and now interested in finding out what is the finally weight after harvesting and drying....hopefully more than 5 ounces......from what it look right o but you never know!

I would say that you should let her go another two weeks, maybe even 3 weeks. All of those white hairs have calyx's at their base that are just waiting to swell and fill with resin, chop her now and they're empty. Wait until most of the hairs are brown and retracted and the amount of new white ones being produced has dropped significantly. I seriously think that if you chop now you could be costing yourself maybe an ounce and some quality too. :peace:

i'm having second thoughts too.. when i saw your flowering time its quite low.. lower than i thought...
another two weeks and the buds could possibly plump out some more (they may not..) but rather give it the time if you can...

A very nice and healthy looking lady. Congratulations on displaying the type of patience that usually takes growers several runs to acquire, it will pay off in the end.

I wanted to thank everyone for Liking my sexy plant. In a few more days, I will post up the finally harvested pics. I am also going to take other pics once the plant is dry and ready for curing with final dry weight. Ahhh, she is so sexy! If you don't have patience then don't grow bud because the temptation can be very strong to cut her down! Patience my friends, this is KEY!

Yes, patience is the key. Can you believe it's almost been a month since you first asked if it was ready to be chopped? Aren't you glad we stopped you lol? Looks like we'll both be chopping around the same time. Mine will be day 70 in 9 days. congrats man
