Picking Fan leafsoff

Well some thing told me i shouldnt off picked all well most of my fan leafs but these afghans were so busy the 400 hps was even gettin blocked from only two bout 23 inch plants.Well soi did it about 1st week or second cant remember whenthebudswhere already showing what you guys think will this mean for a longer flower they are doing great in there 4th week of flower they need some weight though using ff nutes maybe just takin a while to recouprerate they have doubled in bud size but im talkin bout mass its still early whats your opinions

When the fan leaves turn yellow they are about to fall off so I just pick them off then, if there is a little green though it is still being used by the plant for energy making. Remember bio 101 the stomatas located under the plants leaves are where gas exchange occur. They need to be there for the whole plant to work well and not staggering. I believe you might have to wait a little longer if you picked off most of the leaves. I remember reading on RIU something about not taking off more than 20% of all fan leaves but I could be wrong. Well i had to pick them cause they where blocken a lot of bud do you think that i ruined the plant or affected the yield or no?i mean do you think they will still beef up? thanks

i tie back single leaves if i have to,,tie back branches ,,whatever i have to do without cutting off any leaves.....and you had to pick them lol,,,cmon now, just have to be creative my man...those leaves provide energy for your plant,,without them your plant has less energy...and yes i beleave it will result in smaller yeild..

40 wow......on your next grow you should think about the tons of leaves your plants will have and prepare for it before hand by tie shit down,or away from one another,,,if your short space then i suggest a diffferent method of growing ,such as, sog method....jmo..good luck,

ya never know really...try figuring what percentage of leaves you actually took off the plant,,like 10% of all the leaves ..could result in a 25% cut in yeild.........i literally watched 1 of my plants last year grow great and tower over the same plant rite next to it from picking fan leaves...6oz dry off 1,,,and 2oz dry off the other...same plant same strain same planting date....

what a perfect time to try super cropping that plant,,,,,,,how far along is it..

4weeks 5 days into flower .why what will supercrop do?

method used to get larger crops ....you should google it and read up on it....i wanted to try it this year but i wasnt introduced to the method until i was ready for heavest..

you mite be far into budding too try it,,,,but if you do ,then please send me pics ,and step by step on what you do and how it worked.....would make for an awesome thread..."expeirment super cropping"..
