wondering if it matters what company you go with on those Ph up and Down liquids? or if they would cause issues with nutrients? and also do you use it before you go and add nutrients.

They are all the same. Adjust ph after the nutes.

I use lemon juice and baking soda to go down and up respectively.

does that really work? what does what cause isnt ph up potassium hydroxide and
ph down phosphoric acid?

ph down = acid (lemon juice, phosphoric acid, I use distilled vinegar. Basically does the same) up = base (baking soda, potassium hydroxide)
