The Info:
Hydro set-up flood and drain 3-5x daily 15 min ea.
3 Plants started from clones 4-5 weeks old (14"-18" tall)
using rockwool cubes
18/6 light cycles with (1) 250w MH and (1) 250w HPS Sun Systems VII combo balast with 2 bulbs and reflector
light its about 12" away and pH is about 5.9-6.0
Using FloraNova at 3/4 strength with Floralicious supplements at full strength

Thanks again to anyone who can help out. . . .

Now the problem is I keep getting pH spikes every day from my 5.9 adjusted to about 7.1 when I check it, is this even close to normal? Every day a jump to 7.1? I have to add pH down almost every single day and sometimes more than once cuz I dont like to add alot at one time since my resi is relatively small about 8 gallons. . . any ideas?

I had similar issues and bought a 'better grade' of ph down, and my ph is maintained a lot longer now.

The size of your res could be the problem. How often are you adding water? you might also need to flush your system! you should be doing that every week or two. and cut down you water time from 15 min to 4-7 min once a day rockwool holds alot of water!!!I water 1 time a day for 4 mins a half an hour after the lights come on, havent had any problems!!!

What was the name of the one you used before? And what is the name of the one you use now? This would help me out a bunch I think the one I have is General Hydroponics which is a well known brand so I'm thinking I cant upgrade much more huh?

YO!! how do you test your pH?? I've been using flora series, and wanted to test out the nova, only to find out that it discolors the water too far for me to be able to read whats going on... (i use the GH test kit with the drops)
i know i'm not helping you out at all, but i also see that this thread is very old now... haha.. i'm just looking for a little help if you've got it!
