Ph runoff question

I just hand fed a few plants and tested the runoff at 6.6 The nute mix I added was 5.9

what does this mean?

oh by the way there all in rockwool blocks

all that means is the ph of the moisture im the rockwool was higher than what u added. it should be lower the next time.
