Does the ph matter during flushing. I think I have a bit of nute burn and Im going to flush with distilled water but do I still need to adjust PH?

closet grower you must have decent ph'd water, I say always ph your water it is much better for your plants. The way i do it is if i was feeding with a ph of 6.8 then i do a flush with 6.5 never going under a ph of 6.2, that is for soil of course and just take it down to 5.8 to 5.5 with my hydro. Also you should let your tap water sit out for at least 24 hours to let the chlorine dissipate. hope that helps and all grows well

I'm growing hyrdo and I always flush using PH corrected water. I haven't let it sit overnight first but will add that to the routine next time....

In my opinion it is a must if you live in the city or your using well water unless you have a reverse osmosis system attached to your plumbing.

I do Ph my water when using it for normal watering of the plants but I've never bothered to Ph the water I use to flush my ladies with and I've never had any issues with it. My suggestion to you mizzchewy is to go with what everyone else is saying in this thread. Who knows, maybe I've just been really lucky although my tap water here is never more than 6.6 max.
