You rinsed the hydrton thoroughly and then washed it some more right, and then presoaked/buffered it? Since it wasn't mentioned that is going to be my first guess.

I washed buffered mine and still experienced a period of about or a week or two that I constantly fought it. I think it's a matter of time and passing enough water and nutes to balance things out. I don't know if I'd recommend to start over with it or be vigilant and give it some good flushes until things settle. It's up to you. I'm guessing that since it's only running for 4 days that pathogens, bacteria, or algae are the cause. If you have the time, IMO, I'd try to calm it down rather then try to replant things. Hate to waste nutes, but maybe a good extended flush and come back in with a mild solution until you can see how it wants to act.

I rinse all the dust off my rocks then wait for them to dry then use em. No problems ever, just the slight annoyance of re phing every couple days for 1 week. The hydrotron could be aiding your problem but I think it's elsewhere. Is everything exactly the same as your ebb and flow run you talked about previously?

Ya I changed the nutes I was u using humboldt master a & b the line up and now I'm using cns17 with great white and calmag and Verde should I adjust it before every cycle or will that burn the plants
