Yup. That's what I do. I mix everything first, wait a few minutes, then adjust to proper PH. Wait a few more minutes and check PH again to be double sure.

First of all , what kind of grow system you re using dirt or hydro ?

I have high ph in my TAP water is around 8.0...after i mixed the nutrients , it will lower pH by itself around 6.1 its pretty good for my soilless medium. I would highly recommend to use LIME in your dirt to buffer pH.

I have no experience in Hydro system if you have one, sorry.

Happy growing

i'm growing in soil
excellent, then did you pre mix soil with like Espoma s Garden Lime that sold at homedepot ?

to be honestly , i dont bother to check pH in my dirt grow as long as you taste the TAP water is good for you then its should be good enough for this plants as well...I ve been watering those plants without nutrients and they re still thriving. they can tolerate high of pH like 7.5 or 8.0.

big number 1 is to read the plants, thats your key to become successful grower. good luck

Yeah dude if you're growing in soil don't fuss with pH. Calcitic/dolomitic limestone at an application rate of 1.5-2 tbsp per gallon will stabilize your pH over time.

I grow organically and I use Earth Juice and guanos (both sparingly). Earth Juice Grow makes the fertigation solution highly acidic, we're talking around pH 4. I don't add any pH up to it what-so-ever and don't have any problems. This is because of the lime, the micro-organisms in the soil, and maybe in part because I also use some Peruvian Seabird Guano, which also helps raise pH.
