That's actually a very good question... i would just let some water sit out for a day or two un-covered and use that water. Looking forward to some better answers though.:leaf:

flush with strait water for a day or two. you really don't have to flush i feed mine right up to the last day of harvest. the last coupleofweeks is when they really pack on the weight.don't cut them any slack feed them girls to the end.

You still want the water to be pH balanced when flushing. Its the process of flushing out the chemicals and nutrients, not about raising the pH to whatever you get from your tap/RO. Maintain pH as you always have.

There are other ways too, if this still bothers you, of lowering/raising pH:

1.Lemon juice. 1/4 tbsp can bring a gallon of tap-water from 7.4 to 6.3.
2.Phosphoric acid. lowers pH and provides Phosphor too!
3.Nitric acid. lowers pH.
4.Hydrochloric acid. strongest way to lower pH
5.Hydrated lime. flush soil with a teaspoon per gallon of water to raise pH.
6.Baking Soda. eats acids to raise pH.
7.Calcium carbonate. raises pH (very strong)
8.Potassium silicate. raises pH.

What do you use for nutes?

actually, you don't want to ph your final flush. remember what you're flushing for. you're flushing to remove excess nutes from the medium. you want the plant to stop taking in nutes, so your end product is a nice smooth, nute free product. ph'ing would only allow the plant to continue the uptake of nutes.

If you want to flush. do a good 3 to 1 fush and use just water untill you harvest. Don't worry about ph.

I like to use apple cider vinegar to ph down and I like to get it low (like rain) ph of 5.6 to 5.8,,,,this stops nute uptake and growth until the ph buffers back up but the flush removes most of the nutes so it's all good

But for me that is how I water for the whole grow and I feed till the end

you can flush the nutes from the soil but not the plant
