PH dropping

My grow life was getting a tad boring had to spice it up. I'm DWC 2 1/2 weeks into flower. Visually appears to be no issues, growing nice crystally nugs. Drinking about 2 gallons a day, is feeding as ppm drop as the water level drops. However I've noticed ph level slightly dropping. Over the last 24hr it dropped from 5.8 to about 4 flat, so HUGE! Any ideas or questions let me know!

Edit: I included picture of roots from probably about 3 or 4 weeks ago as they look roughly the same just more and bigger.

I thought of something else to mention. Upon fresh bucket or top off, I fight a rise in ph. Which after it drinks half the bucket ends with really low ph level water. As I will go in every couple hours and adjust ph until I go to bed.

Warmer then ideal about 72. I have a chiller but trying to make it through this 1st grow before I go changing the whole setup.

thats the thing about water,,every thing got to be stabile,,they dont like swing in water,,you have to gradually swing it to get better results

I agree they aren't likeing the PH swing. That's why I'm trying to solve it before I do see ill effects

I haven't used peroxide in a while so I'm gonna treat with that for a few days and then try to reintroduce my bennies.

normally ph drop is a sign of root rot h202 will keep it back but it usually returns try find a product containing bacillus i.e orca/voodoo juice/hydroguard or aquashield whatever they call it now the bacteria in this will eat the rot away multiply and protect your root system heisenberg tea is a good 1

Just needed a reset I guess. 3 weeks into flower. I'm sure periodic peroxide treatments can get me through the next couple weeks. I have a temp controlled chiller waiting for next grow.

dont use h202 with that though will kill everything next res change apply it directly to the roots undiluted try get it in the middle of your root ball and put some in the hydroton so to get the dryer root space should sort anything out good luck

start brewing teas you just apply 1 cup per week when you build up a microbial life your plant can handle almost anything heat swings ph swings crazy really

What's so bad with killing everything? I'm not an experienced grower by any means but this is probably the third time doing a reset on the bacteria in there. I figured as long as I continued reapplying orca after I'm just building the good bennies right back up quickly

Keep in mind I know temp is the problem and I have a chiller waiting. Just attempting to make it through this first grow with the existing design.

And to be honest when I compare the results of my 80 cent bottle of peroxide and my 80 dollar bottle of orca I some times question why I'm not continually using peroxide....

no really it sort of makes the bennies pointless as like you said building them back up the key is a massive population you will be surprised try it the bennies live for your plant by eating dead roots and converting them back into sugars basically they live of anything bad and provide good they even can increase your nutrient uptake by 1000x or something like that if you dont want to brew tea just get a jug fill it with ph,d non-chlorinated water get a scoop of great white or any soluble mycos and stir it in just add this over your hydroton 1 time a week in veg and once every other week or month in flower
