PH differance from soil to water?

If your soil PH reads one thing, and your water PH reads another. What to do? My water reads spot on. My soil reads 7. The plants look fine with the exception of a couple of brown spots on two of the plants. But still not sure which one to adjust, if I should adjust anything at all. I'm trying to leave this grow alone so it will do it's thing. But can't just sit back and let it explode to garbage.
Is it common to see two differant readings from water to soil? I'm presuming it is. Logic would dictate so, but still I figure most are going for an across the board 6.5 (water/soil). But if your water flows back into a res, which would look to adjust?

I would not adjust any of them. Water the plants with your spot on ph and you will be fine.

yea as long as your water reads close to 6.5 im pretty positive thats all that matters
