pH causing lockout I'm assuming? Pics

Hey guys!! Would like to start off thanking everyone for all the time and research that they have put into this addicting "hobby" haha. Been reading tons of threads for quite sometime now and I finally decided to post =D.

On to the details!

  • Blueberry (came from bb nugs)
  • Miracle grow potting soil (nothing extra added on my part)
  • 3 60w 2700k cfl and 1 100w 5000k cfl
  • Vegged for 4 weeks exact
  • last night through today was the first 12/12 light cycle
  • 72 constant temp
  • 40-60% humidity
  • Fan bringing in fresh air

  • Misted its first nutes today 6-2-4 (just did it to see if it the extra N will help with the leaves) Haven't been able to check since its in its 12 off currently. Going to use tiger bloom for flowering.

  • first 3 weeks of veg was deer park water, only recently I switched to tap and started noticing the problem.
  • On the middle bottom leaf of the first picture, there is a huge chuck missing from the leaf. At about week 2 it was just a tiny oblong sized hole.
  • Only effecting 2 of 11 plants.
  • Transplanted both plants into bigger (in the pictures) about 7 days ago
  • I water about half a cup per plant every 2-3 days as needed.
  • Haven't flushed
  • Pictures taken today!
I'm assuming its a pH issue considering I haven't been testing it and I only started having problems after switching to tap.

Today I remembered I work right next to a damn pool and spa shop lolol, I'm sure they will throw me an electronic pH meter for free.

I was just dumbfounded because the one plant used to have a tiny hole, like a bug got to it or something. Now its missing a chunk of the leaf but instead of looking like a pest problem it looks a like a nute problem.

Any Ideas?

Hopefully I covered all the details. If there's any additional information needed let me know! I'm constantly on this site =D (waiting for my grow journal to be approved)

Thanks in advanced!

if thats the mg with time release then it def from nute burn.i recomend transplanting to some pro mix, i had the same prob .or u can try cutting back on water.the more u water the more nutes u release.maybe wait a couple weeks before addin bloom nutes.

Well today I finally checked the pH of my tap water, Distilled water, Nute feed and run off. Everything ranges from 6-6.8 so I'm in the clear. Was probably just a nute problem with the Mg potting soil. Added some happy frog to two plants and water with 140ml of distilled water in all 7 plants. We will see how they take =D (ill get pictures up once my camera charges)
