Pf tek question

So i knocked up a jar awhile ago. I took it out after 3 1/2 weeks of waiting for it to be fully colonized. It made it to about 85% colonization, thought it was contamed. Turns out it wasn't so i put it into the fc anyway...
It looks like whip cream growing on it, it turns real fluffy on the bottom where it didn't fully colonize..
Is everything ok or did i fuck up?

Does it look like cobwebs? If so mix a few dropd of hydrogen peroxide to spray bottle and mist and fan should kill it

3and a half weeks seems like a long time what were your temps?

It does look cobweby!!! You say put peroxide in water? The temp was like 70 for the first couple days then, it probably got to 85 tops on my heating blanket.
It has been almost 2 weeks in the fc And no shrooms

Wow seems slow, I don't run pf tek instead I do wbs and fruit in z tubs but that just seems slow to me.
Yeah I've read multiple times about adding peroxide just a few drops to your misting water in order to kill cobwed junk

use a 10% peroxide to 90% water solution for cobweb...to check for bruising/comtams...use a q-tip...just gently rub the area...if it is bruising you will not get anything on the q-tip...contam will mark on the q-tip....hth

So i shoukd be able to see if i do have an out break the q-tip will tell?

Either cobweb or just fuzzy mycelium. Has something to do with humidity. Anyhow if your sure its cobweb h2o2 kills it

If it is cream colored and smooth it could be bacterial contamination - not all bacteria smell. I don't have my reference handy so I can't give you the names (you didn't think I knew all of those names by heart did you?)
