Pest or Boron??

6.3 ph Is this ok? Running advanced sensi grow

Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow
Advanced Nutrients B-52
Botainicare Hydrohguard
Gro Tek Pro Silicate

I have noticed small slit in leaf and small indents on leaf edges...thought something was eating it but haven't been able to find anything...
Was also thinking it might be a Boron deficiency??




This is my first grow just trying to get this figured out ASAP

6.3 is okay,, a bit high but still okay. It looks like your pH fluctuated and caused the discoloration and holes. Has your pH been steady?

It has flucuated...had a cheap pen and after a few days realized it wasn't working...so I'm using a bluelabs ph pen now...i would like ph around 5.8 but it don't seem to wanna come diwn and don't wanna overdo it with ph down.... Just changed res friday and ph has been stable since but still want lowered

Ayou want a little fluctuation. From 5.5-6.5 is great, it allows all macro and miro elements to be absorbed

I can put a full dropper of ph down in and it might go down .1 is that too much ph down?

The pH down I use is 5ml per gallon per -1.0

Not sure if its advanced ph perfect that keeps it from going up down or if its the silicate? Advanced told me to not worry about ph unless it goes under 4.0 or above 8.0 which i thought was really strange and just disregarded what they said.

Lol yeah below 5.5 and above 6.5 for hydro...give or take ±0.2
