Personal Stash. Long term storage for stealth.

I know about jars and canisters. Don't really like to use plastic like rubbermaid myself, but....... Remember we are talking about your own long term personal stash.

I need to store long term cured weed. I need it airtight, to control the smell, to prevent mold and don't want It dry out and turn to dust. Only talking a couple of Oz. for long term personal. The long term might package might get popped open every couple of weeks to replenish my short term supply.

Bought some quart size freezer bags that double seal/zip, whatever. They don't work. I can smell right through them. Obviously they aren't air tight! Will stink up a whole room no problem! Too bad, because otherwise they are perfect. You can mold your baggy and weed to your stash place.

Jars, well. That's my last resort. They work fine, but they are see through and if you drop one it will break. I honestly want to get away from jars.

I don't want to buy anything. I've spent way too much money on stuff the last 6 months and am merely looking for simple ideas from around the house.

Also, where is the most stealth place to stash your weed? Attic, garage and sheds get too hot. I wanna find the least obvious place within the temperature controlled living areas. What are your best ideas? Secret compartment? A place you wouldn't be scared to hide 3 or 4 wrapped bundles of 100's from the bank.

Anyway. Appreciate any input. Thanks.

assuming it's dried properly and below 60% rH, you're clear of mold.

The glass mason jar is airtight. Dip it in bleach after filling to destroy any odor molecules.

The only detectable odor would be from you touching the jar at that point.

Cut a slit in box spring underneath frame and slide it in there and use jars. Won't be found by anyone. Some furniture have a gap under neath them with trip that goes around move dresser from wall put it under and slide dresser back.
build a small shelf inside closet above door cause no one opens a closet and looks up
