Perpetual Closet Grow

Its been a few days since Ive put the seeds into soil. Im using Mazar Kush and Strawberry Blue seeds from Attitude seed bank:leaf:. Ive had great success with the Mazar in the past both outdoors and indoors. Growing medium is Foxfarms regular potting mix. Nutrients are Foxfarms Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom. Just growing out the Mazar since its my last seed but since I live in a small apartment Im going to keep the strongest of the two strawberry blues and keep cloning it so I can have a perpetual grow of it. Three plants to start but only one will survive at the end. All seeds are fem so no need to worry about the pesky males :-P. Im very excited about this grow and I cant wait for the next couple months to go by and watch my ladies grow n grow. Hopefully no problems arise and everything runs smoothly. Gotta wait about a month to order my 600W hps sadly but Im in no rush to get those ladies flowering just yet. Pics coming soon.

Feminised seeds are waste of time, they produce hermafrodites.

I know...I speak from experience.

I ended up spraying reverse on them in weeks 1 and 3 during bloom, and it did work considerably.
I didn't get as much seed on that crop.
After that crop, I grew a bunch of non-feminised Oasis and got me a true beautiful female.
Honestly, that's the way to go if you don't want any herms or tarded plants.

Ive never gotten a herm from fem seeds in all my grows. They only herm from stress n what not. That has never happened to me Ive had nothing but pure beautiful females from all my fem seeds. But thank you for your concern.

Fed the bigger ones this morning. Ladies are looking good. Blue seedling looking good only day 2 since it sprouted out the ground. The Kush still stretching but has stopped since I lowered the lights. Once I get some top soil itll make it a lot stronger. I really need to invest in a fan to get those stems nice n thick. Should be able to start feeding the seedling once its true leaves get bigger. Loving the sight :weed:. No problems so far, hope it stays this way.

Hmm.. i know Femd seeds have hermi traits in the"DNA"..but i have had only i strain (red diesel) that hermid on me...and after a couple of generations of cloning no more hermi...fems are fine...:bigjoint:

I'm glad to hear that your fem seeds worked fine for you.

Just added some Humbolt happy frog for top soil and to fix the stretching, which makes me feel so much more confident in this grow:-P. Also have been keeping my water in the fridge which from the looks of it looks like the girls sure are lovin the coldness :bigjoint:. Camera ran out of battery's :wall: lol so pics soon to come. Next week mon the older girls going to be getting 200mL of grow big n big bloom, n the young blue just big bloom. One love:leaf:

also added some dowels for support the stems are kinda long so i see that as a future problem but i also added a little fan angled towards the wall to bounce the air off the walls so i think itll help dramatically. one love!!!

that grow big is some serious stuff bro, ever since my first feeding with it (around 2nd week in, i think at half strength) my girls started exploding from every node point like crazy:leaf:

When you say half strength are you meaning 1.5 tsp per gal.? Like on the bottle says full feed is 3 tsp i think? Cuz on the feeding schedule i should be feeding them just big bloom until about wk 3 then big bloom n grow big but now im thinking i should just be using anywhere from half a tbs to 1 tbs. Think thats too early or just do half strength like you said? This is my irst time using quality nutrients so i wanna do it right you know lol. big bloom is for flowering thats why im confused as to why i should be using it now in vegg. Any tips or suggestions would help greatly. next watering will be on tues. Pis coming then too. :bigjoint:

Yea when I say half strength I mean half of the "every watering"...so for u now at 3 weeks I would say do a mix of 2 tbls. Big bloom and 1/2tsp grow big...also from what I understand big bloom is a 100% organic fert to be used threw the full plant life , grow big and tiger bloom arnt completly organic but are your vegg. And bloom nutes of the foxfarm 3part system.. Lol kinda baked I don't know if that makes sence

EDIT: also was wondering, how far away are you lights from your plants? should be like 6" or so (maybe closer)

They are like 4 inches away. The feeding chart says 2 tbs big bloom and 2 tsp of grow big,, then next week 2 tbs of bloom and 3 tsp of grow. right now I have 2 tsp grow n 2 tbs of bloom. would it urt to just use straight grow for this week/ then go back to the regular bloom n grow mix?

think u should keep usein them both man, guy at my local hydro store Broke it down like this... The big bloom is a constant suply of stable nutes, but you will not notice a big differnce in growth with just BB, for lack of a better term it is mostly a soil enricher (after a couple weeks most plants eat all the nutes in the soil)...I'm sure you can get away without using it, but if u have it do ur girls the favor .
