Perfect but for one thing....

my plants just dont taste of anything, well hardly as much as they should, they smell lovely when growing, when drying, they look sweet , they do exactly what they are meat to do, BUT there is little flavour / aroma

what am i doing wrong pls guys .....

I'm not even going to pretend that I know what I'm doing but, for more information/help they're going to want to know more about your dry/cure methods and conditions. I made some improvements this time around. I do have the aroma, and I have to give that to the few extra days she had to dry. That was at about mid 60's for the temp and 60% humidity.

Now, I have put 3/4's of the harvest into a jar and left some out to dry even further, doing this as to find my "sweet spot" for my conditions as I do not have a controlled environment, atm. The stickied threads here have some good information.

I have dried everything perfectly, seven days, then I jar. I find that it just takes patience and time. The grassy smell goes away, as long as you let it cure in the jars, giving a little air to breathe daily. Each flower, is better than the last.

Keep your jars in the dark. One of my strains takes a month before the smell pops. others 10 days

Hard to be able to tell you what might be wrong unless you tell us EVERYTHING you are doing

If your drying and or curing process is getting light at all, that is keeping some of the active chlorophyll alive, affecting taste. Mine get as little light daily as I can muster. It's hard not to go in there all the time though haha.

Thats whst happens wwhen u dry for too long.
The cure i think is still the most challenging thing.

Smell and taste is mainly strain dependent if you ask me, although the drying curing process has a lot to do with preserving terpene content. When I grow multiple strains in the same medium using the same nutes, drying the same way.....and some smell waaaaayyyyy danker than others, I have to attribute that to genetics. The indica's almost always smell, and the sativa's seem to either smell like haze, or just 'planty'. Some hybrids can either smell really dank, or not smell much at all. Lots of crap strains out there impersonating the originals, and it takes time to sift through them. Almost seems like the best strains simply are not available for trade or sell, imagine that

Probably need to dry a bit longer before jarring, but like other have said, it's hard to tell without all the details.

i just didn't dry properly that last WW was the best ever, and ive now just chopped 2 cheese and they are drying the same way, also got 3 more WW in 2 days ago and waiting for them to pop
