Hi, does anyone know the cause of my plant leaves curling up?

-I am using some type of pro soil that has water crystals in it.
-They are under 2 CFLs indoors
-Have a small fan blowing on them
-its around 75ish degrees in the room
-This is a Tabasco pepper, also growing Trinidad scorpion, ghost pepper, jalapeno, and more.

-I've had this happen before when i as growing some Cleomes indoors, and I am growing them again. So id like to try and prevent this.

Wind damage? I'm not sure the fan helps at this stage, and it could probably give delicate seedlings wind burn if strong enough. Just a suggestion...I'm not sure at all.

Possibly the soil is too damp too? That's another possibility.

Final possibility is too much light....

soil is too hot! needs a flush or hope for it to grow out normally. hot pepper leaves are curled in slightly, normaly.

yeah, that might be it, there is a fan blowing over it though.. its a tiny fan like 90mm smaller. But it should take care of the heat from the cfls

from what ive read, most say its from over watering

should i just be watering it once a day? I try to water it various times thru the day, if it feels like its drying up

thx

Hmmmm....they are overwatered...the water crystals are to hold water, so see if you can't switch to a lighter soil. Since peppers like a loamy soil whatever you get get something that feels light and claims to have good drainage...or add some perlite to whatever you get...but any soil with water crystals is for house plants...and things you are only going to water every few weeks...and when you overwater with premium soil you are usually also overfeeding...so step back on the watering a lot or get different faster drying soil.
