Just a quick rant. If this isn't in the right forum please move or lock.

I just find it funny how people who know about your grow ( friends/family ) think they're entitled to some of the harvest "oh I can't wait to sample that!" Or "whoa what are u gonna do with all of that" But nobody wants to pay for it lol. They act like this hobby is cheap and doesn't take months of work. I mean maybe if they invested in me and gave me seeds or fertz or equipment I'd be a little more generous.

I feel your frustration. I have similar anger with people who expect me to grow multiple "flavors". They act like I just spawn a new plant and everything goes perfectly. I have to explain to them there is much Research & Development involved and it could be several months of wasted time if I have a bad run and they aren't going to pay for canopy space I have to throw away due to herm/etc.

Then on top of the R&D they want me to give them samples for free while I'm paying a $600/mo light bill and spending hundreds of dollars in grow medium, nutrients, equipment maintenance and breaking my back doing all the work myself.

Dispensaries ruined cannabis culture here in Michigan. It used to be Regs, Mids, Chronic, now it's Bimbo Kush, Motor Monster Breath, Gorilla Fuck Ape titties and granny panties poly phenotype hybrid cross sativa indica. Oh and dispos sell micro buds for $30-40/oz so people expect a home grower with top buds to sell them a oz for $40 like we just print weed out of a machine.

Growing cannabis is about to be a micro hobby of mine and these people are going to all wish they were less selfish when these debtmaxing dispensaries lose their licenses to the new legislation that doesn't allow them to renew their license(s) if they are in debt. Bailout prices are going to end and the prices are going to skyrocket once all these cheap ass dispensaries get kicked out of the game.

Hi friend I have been wanting to try some of that since you showed me them seeds you bought. Whats for dinner and drinks, your smoke made me hungry and thirsty. Just kidding.

So invite everyone over for a bbq and have all the freeloaders bring food or drink. Shut down or move the operation and tell them you are taking a break. Might buy you a little peace and quiet for a bit.

years ago I started giving my co workers xmas presents. Over time they seem to expect it along with samples. Since then most of the smokers have moved on so I might have a little excess product this year.

For the past 3 years we had a "community grow". As many as 6 people. The thing is it was in my back yard, so who took care of it? Sometimes they would show up on weekends to work.

Trim time last year was the last straw. They wanted to take their bud home to trim it. It ended up that they took almost all the best bud and left me with mostly lower quality after I did almost all the work, spent most of the money, and you know the rest. They are a little upset not to be in on this grow, but I told them last year they had to start their own gardens and why. They offered to bring some back. I told them to keep it this time, but grow their own.

This year I'm growing by myself, with some special ones for my son and daughter, they both need the Diet Durban.

Now they are like kids looking through the window at a candy store at a monster grow.

I know what you mean this dude wanted me to sell him an ounce and I only grew an ounce and a half and it was like all this for nothing I needed the money so I was like fuck it but it still hurts even though I got 400 for a oz. Back a while ago, it hurts to let go of something you put your everything into

I recently gave away a 1/2 lb. Good stuff too, but funny was when I was asked "you gonna grow anymore of that purple stuff again?" like what I gave you, for free, wasn't good enough? Everyone got stoned af too, but they still want that purple lol.

I give up.
Hey bro can you grow some purple stuff for tomorrow's party? 1690125082531.png

Diet Durban THCV:THC is supposed to be 7% THC, 7% THCV, and 2% CBD. Seedsman actually posted lab results and they showed that it was what they said. First time I've had a seed company back up the claims for their seeds. The plants are huge and we don't harvest until October.

Ok cool I thought it said 7% but wasn’t sure what it was referring to I must’ve missed it say thc. Old timers haze is a nice one to grow that around 7% thc

I've run across a few things that show THCV can lower A1C. I don't know but it's worth a try.

Damn. Yall stingy, lol

I bring nugs to the local Cars N Coffee for my buddies to stick their nose in, I ALWAYS share where I can and "get you next time" when I can't. Matter o fact almost any "event" I go to, I have to carry a nice nug or two on me just for sniffing and gawking

As far as I'm concerned, family and friends ARE entitled to sample my goods. That's why I do this ---- well for me first & foremost, but a tight 2nd is so that I can save other ppl money on weed.

That’s how I felt about mine but it’s just hard getting used to letting go of it. It does feel good for others to enjoy your hard work it’s almost like you can enjoy it too.
