I have actually thought about doing this my self to tell you the truth. I never really started to do research or any thing like that. I think getting the right control panel would be the thing. But then again I havnt really done any research on it. I know if I was to build my own I would be putting the best shit I could inside it. Meaning I would be getting all 3w cree diodes. Which I think they run you about 7 bux each. I really think it would be sooooooooooooooooooo sick to have one in a PC. But I really think it will cost a decent amount to build one. If you do some research and figure out how to do it fill me in cause I will build one right there with you. STAY HIGH!!!!
Well if you want your LED to last the life time they are rated for they cannot be ran at full power. They can only be ran at say 1.5w each. Then you will have to do alot more research to find out the perfect diodes you would want. You know with the perfect spectrum or nanameter read what ever it is. I might do some looking around my self to see what I can come up with and I will let you know. STAY HIGH!!!

Generally, companies using 700mA diodes (3 watt) are pushing just over 2 watts each to get the most efficiency, and longest life out of the diodes.
Hey man thanks for stopping by and putting your first comment on my thread. Glad I could be an inspiration to you. As for the set up. It wont cost you much to do at all. Can you get the fans That are in there to work still? If you can all you will have to get is a bit of good soil. A tupperware for the pot make sure you cut drain holes in the bottom. You will also need to get one timer and two power strips. And 8 26w CFL light bulbs. 4 that are soft whites that have 2700k spectrum and then 4 that are 6500k spectrum. Use the 6500 in veg and the 2700 in flower. Time frame all together is going to take you around 3 to 4 months to finish what you have started. And as for the cost on all of this i would say for you around $35 to $45 dollars if you can use the fans you have and around $100 bucks if you need to buy fans. But you will always find your self buying small thing to accessorize your box. Like digital thermometer and a turkey baster to make watering much easier. Hope some of this info helps you. Well what I have is 2 pc fans from radio shack they are much more powerful than what the case came with. When I got them I had to buy an A/C TO D/C adapter. 1amp adapter was sufficient enough to power both fans. I forgot to mention you will need to get adapters so you can plug lights right into your power supply some walmarts have them but home depot does for sure. They are like a dollar each. STAY HIGH!!!
Thanks for stopping by. When they are in flower the smell isn't that bad. But I am a heavy smoker so it is probably mr that don't smell it. If it ever got outta control I would go buy an odor absorber. STAY HIGH!!!
