I was wondering because its gunna be extremely hard for them to get a warrant for mushrooms. There's no smell, no extra power, no heat signatures, etc., so they would have to go off what people say in order to get into your house, and I think its hard to get a warrant based on heresay.

Psilocybin and Psilocin are both listed as Schedule I drugs under the Drug Control Act in the US.

Not sure what search terms you're using, but try Googling "Drug Control Act". You can also search for your state's code, look for the chapter/section on criminal offenses.

I think the mushrooms are usually secondary to the real reason LEO were there, which is almost always a "marijuana factory". I don't think I've ever heard of a bust that turned up just mushrooms. And you're right, what evidence are they going to use to get a warrant? You bought a bunch of jars... More like evidence of making jam.

You guys are probably right. Ive been searching for a combination of these terms: magic mushroom, psychedlic mushrooms, law of growing shrooms, etc

It's not the Possession Charge I'm Worried About...., Yeah, I do mind a little. I've already posted enough on here I feel that can lead to Hard times, I rather be Paranoid & Safe, Than Carefree & Stuck . Yep, I'm pretty sure unless NormL is not Up to Date

I'm in the South, Gulf bordering State..and I don't do it for the money, I work for a living, this is simply recreational and saves money..

Ah, ok, yeah mandatory minimums for "manufacture" and sale are still around, unfortunately. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) they'll figure out that putting people in jail isn't always the best course of action.

Possessing drugs is NOT manslaughter in itself.

And no, they are not legal until they're dried out. SPORES are legal, but the second you start trying to cultivate them it becomes a crime.

Except in Florida, where possession of spores, mycelium, and mature mushrooms are all perfectly legal.

This is something I've been thinking of doing for a while. Seems like it would be a whole lot less trouble then growing weed. A lot less chance of getting caught too.

what dude means buy manslaughter is the amount of time given for the shit. in illinois if they catch you with over 15 grams of heroin its 6-30 years class x felony. wich is greater then 4-15 years for a class one felony of secound degree murder, or the same has an attempted murder wich is also a class x felony

Depends on whether you have a prior criminal record, what the maximum sentence for possession/cultivation is in your state, whether or not you can afford to hire an attorney that's worth a shit, etc.


You can always say you didn't know they were psilocybin mushrooms. Grow some basil or oregano along with them and say you were growing mushrooms for your homemade spaghetti sauce =)

nope spores are only legal in all but 3 states because they dont contain psilocybin. but a liquid culture or innoculated or innoculating jars contain mycelium wich is basiakly mushroom flesh or fungus and those have psilocybin in them
