I also think theyre isolating certain compiunds for synthesizing, I.E: Synthesizing specific cannabinoids and juggling them around to get whatever they want. Kinda like LEGO. Also, patents. No money in just helping ppl...........

Most of the cbd strains I've come across are 50/50 cbd to thc. So plenty of ppl use it recreationally and not just medicinally. star tonic, dennis hopper and tora bora.

but i thought the whole point of cbd is that it doesnt get you high and tempers the effects of thc....

Yes, for some that (pure cbd) may be the objective, like for children, or someone who has never been a smoker prior. Keep in mind the entourage-effect, where you can potentially get maximal benefit from a wider spectrum of cannabinoids.
