OK so this has been going for about 4 weeks now, I've just always been too lazy and stoned to post it all up.
I have 4 weeks worth of pictures and info to get in here so its gonna take me a few posts. Just be patient ;)

So it all started 4 weeks ago when I lost my job, but that's a different story..
I had this old computer sitting around not getting used, so I decided why not? stripped the lot out of it, saving all the fans of course. There were 4 in there which was perfect.
Got hold of 2 Chocolate Chunk clones from a partner in crime (nicely rooted in rock wool for those who want to know)

I had already spent some time gathering pots etc. For the first couple of days, as you can see, they were in small round pots with some nice soil. I originally planned to put them in separate pots but i found a rectangular reservoir type pot with was the perfect size for the space i had. (a minuscule 50cm x 40cm x 20cm)
The pot did need trimming down by about 5 cm to squeeze in, and the decorative lip around the top had to be removed. But a bit of silicon sealer soon sorted it out.

The Good Stuff.

The soil i chose was some 'citrus fruit soil.' It came pre mixed in small bags (needed about 3) with perlite and peat, slightly acidic, etc.

They have had a wide array of lights, mostly stuff i wired up myself. ranging from 1x 125w with 2x 10w, moving on to the 125 + 4x 60w, then downgrading to 6x 60w.

I water them once every 2 - 3 days, only around 500ml - 700ml at a time, never been fed a full litre at once.

Using Doff rose feed around once a week, very small doses, only 1 - 2ml in the water. Although i have just got hold of some 'Explode' from an associate and am eager to see how this will help the girls.

I vegged them for only around 3 days in the cab before flicking them straight to flowering (12/12) We're now on day 27 of flowering (started 12th july) and things are getting pretty tight as you're about to see.

They've needed quite a lot of maintenance to keep them growing safely, lots of string and wire tying different bits down!

Anyway.... time for the pictures. Any questions feel free to ask, I'll try and explain as well as possible as I go.

1st couple of pics are the box itself, with old arrangements of lights and fans, fans are now both are the top blowing across the lights, one intake two extractors all hooked up to 9v dc chargers.

next couple are the plants at day 1, no training, separate pots, fresh from the clone box.

then the last couple should be day 1 / 2 of flower with the initial training.

Enjoy!

You can see the little side branches shooting up because of the training.

one of the plants was growing faster/ larger than the other as you can see, starting to train it round the pot.

Apologies for the poor quality pictures, camera phone is crap. I'll start taking some better ones eventually...

Nice and btw if it is the chocolate chunk from th seeds you will love that strain. That is one of my favorite smokes. Initial frontal face hit and your eyes feel like they are going to fall out of your socket. Expansive to lungs. Has a somewhat hashy chocolate smell and taste to it. Yields are good pulled about 3.3 oz a plant.

Filling out quite nicely now. Pistils are popping out although you can't tell on the poor quality photos! sorry -.-

Side branches are going crazy and more and more string being used to hold everything down.

Last photo shows all the little bud sites popping up... getting to the good bits now ;)

Here we go, flowering like nobodies business. This was initially an experiment but is looking quite nice now, an ounce from this tiny space isn't looking out of reach!

Bit of trimming of the leaves going on as you can see, getting a bit tight around the edges!

These are the most recent pictures, i have realised that they've been in reverse order when I've uploaded then but thats because they're stored by date... anyway.

By our calculations they should have 3 - 4 weeks left, they do seem to be powering along, i think due to them simply being so small and having such intense light in such a small space.

Temps range from 25 - just over 30 usually, incase you wondered, but have hit close to 40 before, didn't seem to bother them much but have swapped some lights about to reduce temps around the flowers.

I think it is from th seeds

sounds amazing man, cant wait to see how it all pulls off, might get a bit tight in there but i reckon crop early september, ready to smoke late september / early october, will be a nice birthday prezzie to trim them!

I recommend it man! you may only pull an ounce from such a small space but its fun to watch them grow and do all the training etc..
All i recommend is that you start with cuttings, as you can flower them at any point, because they came from a plant that was already mature.
If you try this with seedlings, trying to flower them before they are ready may cause devastating results!
They are starting to smell and should be ready to cut early september. dried and ready to smoke by late september / early october.. i cant wait!

This is one of the greatest ideas I've ever seen. Hats off to you brother. Keep us updated, I'm really interested to see just how much dry weight you pull. I may have to start one of these myself.

What material did you line the case with on the inside? How's temperature control?

Cheers Nidar.

haha thanks shin. ill add some more pics tomoro night.

The material is some sort of insulation sheeting. its like a thin layer of foam between two sheets of tin foil. you can buy a decent sized roll for about £15 in b&q I think.

Temps are good now. they were getting fairly high when i had the massive 125 in there but since I've taken it out its stayed around 25 -30 max. Just got 2 pc fans exhausting, one at the back one on top, and one blowing cool air in from the room blowing across the lights and tops of the plants. ill be sure to include some shots in the next post.

Lots of clear little resin heads popping up allover the leaves and pistils now! Stretch is pretty much over and things just seem to be beefing out. just gave them a drink and some explode.

Has a smell similar to C5 if anyone knows it? not the typical weedy stench. Cant wait for the next 3 weeks to be over so i can trim these beauties already!
