PC Grown Box 1st Attempt.

I just started my first grow in a PC i got at the thrift store. Everything total was under $50. Ill keep a this posted as much as possible and would love the feed back cause im new to growing. i have grown once before in my room. lets just say it was shitty. so now im looking to do everything right!

Looks good man...that shelf on the top right is a bitch to get out of there...what cfl's are u running? What size fan?

Oh and what strain u running?

yeah man im using 3 23w CFLs, and im going to get some metal sheers to cut it off or a drill but yeah its a bitch. the fan is the stock one that came in the computer. should look to get another fan also? im running the on a 24/0 cycle for a week then im going to switch to 12/12

and the weed is just random bag seed.

That fan should be fine....depending on ur temps u might want to throw in another one on the bottom somewhere pointed in.

How much can you pull off one of these?

And what are the measurements?

the measurements are 18x15x7 and from what ive read people have grown up to an ounce, as little as 4gs. im shooting for high 20s! with proper LST or pruning i should be good.

What kinda soil and nutes are you using? How important are these in such a small grow?

daadank im using an enriched potting soil called Miracle Gardens. the nutes are Fox farm Grow Big and 6-4-4, and tiger bloom 2-8-4

All bought online? I found a place that sell FF products locally. I might just go with them. I have everything including seeds just need to put box together. Need a couple parts and tools still.

i bought all that nutes at an indoor garden store and my roommate took the potting soil from work. the nutes were around $15 a piece

Hey man looks good I'm subbed i'm working on something like that. Take a look at the frame where that stupid shelf sits and see how it's connected. If it's riveted you can drill them out and toss it. should be sturdy without it. If it isn't it isn't too hard to re-enforce it and make it stable. Keep up the good work.

Check out my Pc grow if you want some ideas, good luck man, it might get a little hot in there, and it would suck if they're both male.. I grew 2 the first time in my Pc and they both ended up being males. Now I've got one female in there. Feel free too check it out though like I said..

Your sprout looks healthy by the way, let it go. I look at it like the more you touch, the more you stress

where is the link to your pc grow?

Herbal.Experience im going out today to get a thermometer at the pet store. these also tell the humidity. as of now the 3 CFLs seem fine. i might change the light position to vertical so when the plant grows it can get light from all around.

sounds like a plan!

the way you have your lights set up is actually perfect.

cfl puts out more lights from the side than the top. -- now you just have to figure out how to add another light.

you could get a 8plug extension cord (should be enough for 4 lights across)

im going to plug in the fan to the wall without the timer. then the lights will be connected to the surge protector and will turn off accordingly

here is an updated picture. for some reason the leaves already look burnt but it wont be a problem because its so early i take it. and they will eventually fall off.

and the other seed did sprout but then died. very weird to me but i already started germinating more
