PC Grow Bulbs blowing out...WHY?

So i have a PC grow box with a powerstrip and 4 cfl bulb locations pluged in. They are 26w cfls, The power is running from the wall; through an extention cord that the powerstrip is pluged into.

I fired up my pc grow box and almost right away a bulb died... So I unplugged all other appliances and put a new bulb in and a few minutes later a different bulb died.

Then I figured maybe it cant handle having 4 so i just ran 3 bulbs and left it on to see how it would go... a few minutes went by and one of the 3 remaining bulbs burned out...

Im obviously no electrician but what can i do to fix this. I see many pc boxes running 4 26w bulbs at one time... What do you think it is?

Note: I am in australia so i am using a plug adapter but that shouldn't matter... Right?

Thanks and +rep for any help...

Well it is just an extention cord magneted to the side of the pc grow box with 4 light bulb sockets pluged into it. Looks like this yhst-94568789002290_2129_5647938.jpg
