Hey,
I'm finally getting my ass off the couch and starting my own little growing experience. The thought of a PC grow box has been kicking around inside my head so I figured I'd go for it!
I've got a decent sized old home server case lined up (somewhere between 2' and 4', let's say 36") and have been getting lights, mylar etc together to do this right. I'll probably be growing in soil as hydro set-ups in such a small space didn't really seem worth the extra trouble. I'm just looking for a little advice on which are the best strains for such a small growing area. The ones that come to mind are all the little ruderalis varieties (Lowryder, etc), because of their small stature and wicked turn-around times. But to get the most out of my grow box I should really be thinking about some kind of ScrOG method. Will the autoflowering ability of the lowryder be a problem? Would there be time to train the plant into the screen before it switches straight into flowering? If anyone has any experience with PC ScrOGs or the lowryder strain, please post. Thanks.
