PC Grow boc size

Hey guys, I have an old pc case with wheels that I gutted out this morning. Is 17" high too small of a grow box? I really like this case and it really would make a great box (cause of its width). Let me know what you guys think, and ill keep you guys updated with photos and updates. I have Automatic green (Female/Auto) that I would like to use it for.

17" is cutting it I would say. Your going to have to do some serious LST from birth. With your lights in the box I'd say find something else because it will out grow it and your always be chasing problems with space and temps.

^ biased response. That's his own opinion. I recently just harvested bagseed bubba kush from 69w in a 16" case, the smoke is great! It is possible, you just need adequate ventilation to cool so many watts in such a small space.

if you look at the circuits in a PC you will notice the boards and chips all go one way to allow airflow through the unit, so the boards don't overheat. make sure u understand how physics and convection work. if you get the right amount of suction at the top near the light and put some holes on the bottom, the air should suck up from the bottom, keeping your soil cool and allowing plenty of airflow. maybe a some sort of homemade oscilating computer fan in there too.

Do you think I would have better luck if I use 3x100 cfls instead of four for temp control?
