You already did the biggest part as it is easier to prevent then to cure. In veg you can sulfur burn and kill the spores that are hiding in all the cracks and crevices now. There is also a fungus you can apply that will fight it . I have a pic of it on my greenhouse thread somewhere. As for strains I am just now breeding PNW specific lines but every thing with the 98 BMS in it has been prone as well as og lines Sfv cross being the worst. Gatorballs and Lerrybee have been the best. I had a male at his place that was fucking immune to the shit I am hitting a pit bull clone with looking for some nice outdoor plants with fast flower.
Those 44 day ones sound awesome!!!

@pappayne,

A few questions about pm:

Can I make it through flower with some? Early in my grow, PM broke out. After using green cure and neem and increased air flow, things are much better.

What strains are good for PM?

Is there anything I can do with my soil or foliage feeding to help with PM? Can a plant make it through flower with it?

I'm a week into flower with a few new ones coming in. I'd hate to cut the old ones, but I don't have a lot of space.

Thanks.
As doc and Cof said, you can do a lot to prevent it. Humidity shifts, temp swings, and stress are what trigger it to bloom.

The shit ty thing with pm is the stuff we see is the "fruit" the real issue imo is the virus or roots or whatever you want to call it living inside the host plant. As far as my research has shown, once a strain has pm, they always have the virus inside, waiting for conditions to bloom.

As in- a mother plant gets it, your treat it, goes away. All the clipping off that plant, all the way down the line now will have the virus inside the plant tissue, waiting to bloom via conditions.

I have seen that in my garden several times now, where I won't see any pm, it's all looking clean, then a rebloom.

What I have done is simply not keep strains that get it. I have l culled a grip of plants due to pm.

Thus far the strains I have see hold it off the best have been

Dream lotus x critical sensi star bred by hemlock

Casey band x black sour bubble x white rhino by hemlock holds off really well too.

4 of 6 super purples by bigworm6969 stayed cleaned thus far

Prime moonshine by bigworm6969

Jakes dreams by bReeder boutique

Damn I really expected a linger list

I'll go look thru my notes and see if I'm missing any strains, but those are my short list off top my head.

A lot of strains do well in veg, then once flower hits.... the jakes, sp, and pms are only 4 weeks in, so still a lot to happen.

Most strains seem to get it a little bit. Like the dog kush, she gets in on the inners, or the really shaded spots. But is easy to keep clean, doesn't infest, and doesn't get to flowers with any sort of preventive measures.

I'm on my phone in a hotel so sorry if my typing fubar ed or didn't make perfect sense.

But yea, sulfur burn green cure neem and plant doctor phospohric acid are what I have seen first hand work the best.

super purple

another SP - purple pheno.

Prime moonshine - cant even tell ya how much I am excited to sample this plant! She reeks like some super dank northern lights, was a beast in veg, I hella fubared a branched, but she bounched back with no fuss. Super strong plant.

Gorilla spirit - another beast! Shes gonna yield heavy, excellent frost covered, her smell is constantly changing, right now its like overripe mangos, last week was minty, who knows!
