patient caregiver question

Hello,

A person I know through a friend wants to be my caregiver and give me an ounce a month for free to sign up with him. Is this how it normally works? What are my responsibilities as a patient to look out for what my caregiver does with the overage from my 12 plants? As a patient am I responsible at all for what my caregiver does? How long does it take to remove him as my caregiver if the situation doesn't work out? How long will it take to sign him up as my caregiver.

Everyone does it different. Some do not give anything away for free. You would discuss with your caregiver what to do with the overage. I would assume you could buy it, just make sure you get a preset price. It's a caregiver change form thru the state for him or her to add you. It's only 10 dollars and it's the same form to drop or add someone. You're legal once the check clears.

No, I think you're not legal until 21 days after the check clears.

My advise is get to know the man or woman before agreeing to anything. Charecter is what you as a patient are looking for.
