Patient Card

Yes i was curious if anyone knew if they have heard of the Dept of Health denying any patient card? I got my doctor to fill out the practitioners form and I filled out the other form and sent it in like 3 weeks ago. I was just wondering if after your doctor ok's you if they can deny you for other reasons.

I would say most signed recommendations will be granted.Unless the signing DR has been in some kind of trouble for some reasons. But you will get a denial letter within no more then 15 days. If you don't get that then you should be good. I bet its closer to 3-4 week wait. The HD takes 75 apps per week.

I just got my practitioner to sign off! yay!! I have medicaid and can pay $10, but see that they request you send a notarized copy? Does this mean to run a copy of the card and have a notary just stamp and sign it? Just curious what others have done.

So I should expect my card in another 3 weeks or so? This Friday marks 3 weeks. I assumed that with the check cleared I was all set.

Wheel, about two to three weeks after they cash your check. Beware, no one can help you but yourself. Keep to yourself, don't attend any meetings; they use the information gathered against you!

Got home today to a letter from Dept. of Health...was ecstactic! Opened it to find it was informing me that I was randomly selected to do a phone survey on health! Life is cruel. Back to the waiting game...
