those taller outer branches are blocking air from moving within the canopy.
try moving your fan up high and blowing down or add a small fan to blow down into the canopy.
this will help any hot spots dissipate and not continue to burn.
And you won't have to move the lights much more that way.. :)
I had tall plants blocking the fan from the rest and all my middle plants have sun burn.
they haven't been stunted or anything. the temps are at 82 all day.

I use cyclone fans and clip fans from walmart for my plants. and I've got all the parts for the new window unit with boosters i'll be hooking up soon as the day temps are a steady 75 max.

Shit's gonna look hack but work out fuckin great.

Got a 4" green plastic drain(like the ones you see inside stores and shit to help when the coolers flood.)
and a 4" Spring loaded dryer vent. this way I wont have to worry about bugs getting in if the exhaust fan cuts out on me.

and 2 pieces of plywood 12"x18" to attach them to. that will go in the window I have the AC in now. and it won't look like anything other than a dryer vent. because I plan to put screen into the drain for bugs to stay out and i'm painting the wood and drain white.
I couldn't get any pressure treated in a 2'x2' square so I got what I could. and now have to paint it to keep it protected from the elements.

Oh I know that. I worked construction for years. Interior/Exterior Redevelopment(basically tear the bitch down and build her back new)

I wasn't planning on painting PT. I just wanted it for the weather we get here in the winter. Snow will be stuck to the ouside of the house 3 stories up from the wind. lol..... But I can paint it with some Exterior flat white I got. and it'll cover the green and the wood. and then you will barely notice a second hole even being there. so less questions to answer if the landlord looks up from the small 3' backyard(aka dirt pad) I got. lol

We get so much rain and snow here it's ridiculous. New England weather at its worst hits 3 states and I'm one of them. lol

So today I was playin in the closet with the males.

Gonna move down here because That shit is funny.
so. yeah as I said before, and I used a paint brush to gently rub a few sacs off the branches.

nice yellow ones with the cracks up the sides but not OPEN yet.
put them into a shot glass and just started poking at them a bit with the pointy end of the brush.

Whole bunch of pollen came out. so I am going to just keep the branches I cut off and put in cups.
theres 4 branches and they got a bunch left in em.
Gonna put a few clones of BD in there and pop the 150 to 12/12. spray them with CS and just give them their time. I'll run all the way to 500PPm if I have to just to get fem pollen from these....
I want Purple Dream but I don't know the true lineage.
I don't know what was male and what was female.
so it's gonna be a feminized version of it I guess.
unless my GDP turns out to be a male. but shit's got a long time before I know. I'm gonna have to get this new light for the fuckin seedlings I got. I just realized that theres 5-6 weeks left for my auto solo cups and my blue dream is root bound/nearing 3' diameter.

down here pressure treated just dries out and splits if you dont treat it with tompsons or something
Pressure treated is treated against pests. You still have to weather seal it to protect it from the elements. Unfortunately, most of your people selling it don't realize that, when they are telling people that's why it's made for outdoor use. I was a Lowe's manager for 7 years and one of the first things I did when I transferred to a new store was to meet with the building materials employees and explain that to them. If your local store doesn't have any PT wood that's already dried, I'd just use regular plywood/lumber and paint and seal all 6 sides if it was for outdoor use. Now, there is some treated wood that is also impregnated with thompsons too, but I was never impressed with it.

Yeah I am going to glue the pieces together drill my 4" holes. Paint the whole thing even in the holes so nothing rots out on me. Calk seal the duct(exhaust) and drain(intake) and make sure that I seal the sides and bottom with caulk as well.. Then I am putting a piece of foam on top(the ones for ACs) and using a wooden dowel to keep the window tightly closed for the winter. :) should work out very well.. took some time to plan the whole thing out.
