Hi guys so coming out to my plant today im noticing trichs going alot more orange than how white they were before(only using my eyes and camera to inspect). alot of the buds dont look ready to me especially lower side but im thinking the top might be at its peak or gone past it already.. been flowering for over a month probably a month and a half. so im thinking of partially harvesting it but do you guys think the top looks ready or what are your thoughts? 1st time getting this far, 2nd grow attempt. look at my other threads for older pics

Are they autos? If not a month and a half is definitely not enough time for full development of the buds. Buy a scope off Amazon for 10 bucks. Also... Read about the strain and its flowering time. And start that "timer" the day you see female bits forming, not when you switched to 12/12 (again if not an auto flower)

On flip it genraly take 2 weeks for them to show signs. Most strains go 8 weeks to harvest some 10 to 14 wks. I wouldn't be pulling any yet .you need to check trichomes see if there clear or milky.even some turning amber .you want to pull when 70% milky trichomes and this is over half the plant

thanks for info. could it have been the rain that has altered the appearance of the top buds?

Cos most have it in a controlled environment if u let it be outside I'm sure it would be fine same as outside weed farmers

that's where I chopped from. the buds are real airy but the trichs were all going brown/amber. it has been flowering for atleast 6 weeks. maybe more... deleted old photos so i cant go back that far. growth seems really stunted lately. Understandable considering conditions i suppose but yeah..

Are u sure it's the trichomes that are turning and not the pistals? From the pictures the trichomes look clear some slightly milky not orange or brown. .

the picture isnt a very good view off them tbh the led on my phone fucks with the colours but there was alot of amber or brown trichs, i think it might have been from issues the plant was going through that may have caused the discoloration as some of the smaller values were starting to brown and die
