Paradise Sensi Star 3rd day 12/12, trying to control stretch....

Hello fellow growers. These are my girls 3rd day 12/12. Im trying something new (to me atleast). Im trying to control stretch. As ive read, the taller (more internode spacing) you have when flowering, the less yield you have. Due to energy being spent pumping the nutes up a long stem. In the past ive had this problem, so now Im tring to improve my efficiency.

So what im trying is,first: Use my metal halide for the first 2 weeks of 12/12 to help keep stretch at a min

Second : Use only my grow nutes for the duration of using my halide bulb.

Third : tying down main stems to allow smaller/lower leaves/nodes to recieve light and grow evenly.

fourth : Notice growth slowing and more flowers, then switch to full bloom w/boost nutes, and change bulb to sodium.

I have a DWC setup, 4 5gal lowes buckets, floranova grow/bloom nutes, koolbloom booster nutes, commercial 8outlet air pump, 4inch airstones. 1000k hydrofarm air cooled hood.

also to add, i keep my hood aprox. 18-20inches away.

Pic#1 is sensi star girls at 4days from rooted clone.
Pic#2 is girls at 16days from rooted clone/3rd day of 12/12
Pic#3&4 is an AK47 from serious seeds in the harvest window. Checked tricomes for milky and still have alot of clear, so any suggestions welcomed as to when to pick.

Thanks for all if any comments. Keep growing sensi star01.jpgsensi star02.jpgbud.jpgbud2.jpgamerica!!!!

Me myself, ive evolved into a dwc grower. Basically all i know how to do at this point. Id use 6 5gal buckets all touching eachother. Top at 2nd node, and tie down any taller main stems as growth progresses to allow the smaller/lower leaves to recieve an equal amount of light. since its such a small tight area, id switch to 12/12 soon as all the leaves are touching your walls, maybe a lil before. Hope this helps, thanks for the reply.
