Aww man I can't wait for my white widow to start packing onto her buds. She's a month from seed going 12/12 from seed and I just noticed last bight that she's just starting to bud up! Hopefully it looks as good as yours does

Just listen to your girls. They will tell you what they want.

Subbed, the science part of it interests me. I like selective breeding and once i get a few grows done, I'll look into it. Mold,humidity, temperature resistance, big yields, and specific colors. Make my own strain really. What is the probability of the purple pheno 1/4? Feel free to stop by my grow in my sig and share some wisdom.

The purple Pheno is pretty rare. I'm still waiting to see if it's the purple Pheno.

I definitely am gonna do a dwc or DYI EBB FLOW we'll see.

What is the difference between DWC and Hydro? Hydro is mist based where DWC is fully submerged (deep). If you cross a purple or blueberry with say White widow, you can try to get 2 with the color and the large quantity of trichs, and just breed those untill it is a 100%?

After this grow we are gonna be moving on to a scrog so stick around folks.
Scrog seems so awsome. I am glad I tried it this go round. Am thinking about going DWC or a DIY Ebb and Flow tube myself next grow. Have you ever used either of those VG?

They look awesome man! Keep it up. I hope I get out of my rut soon so I can actually buy equipment instead of being on a lame budget.

But hey my ladies are growing nicely so I can't really complain!

It's more complicated than that. You gotta get a good spread of pollen so your most robust male. And your best female. Then let them fuck the shit out of each other. Get a good spread of seeds then start popping. You will be looking for different phenos along the way marking them by generations. You would need a good size veg room for this. Probably 8x8. With different fixtures for different phenos. seperate them into the The different groups and watch them grow while finding the best of each (male and female) breed each selectively out. And then gather your results and keep breeding. Till its solid. 60/40 either way. Indica or sativa dominant

its even more complicated than that.....

but a good way to explain the basic concept. heres the chart i created that i breed by,

Breeding methods:
males and hermaphrodites are flowered separately and pollen collected in low air movement environment labeled and left with the lid off for 24 hours to evaporate any moisture then closed and frozen for later use.
Pollen to be used is thawed for at least 24 hours or until room temperature. then a q tip or cotton ball is dipped in pollen then applied to specific buds on marked branches with light dabs. Be sure to turn off all fans when doing this! And spray with plain water on all the other plants to deactivate pollen.
Seeds are harvested when ripe directly off the plant the bud containing the seed may also be harvested early. Seeds are dried for 24 hours and labeled. then put away in labeled jars for later use. Keep at room temperature and away from moisture.
F1= pure strain (C1xC2 and f4)
f2= hybrid strain (f1xf1=f2)
X1=backcross(f2xf1(origin strain)=x1)
C1=cubed pure(X1xf1=c1)
C2=cubed sub pure(X1xf2=c2)
f3= brothers and siters f2s are bred to create stable strain
f4= brothers and sisters f3s or parental f2s are bred to create more stable genes f4= f1

Deep water culture is just that deep water.

Ebb flow is where you have a resivoir and a table with suffucient depth that allows flooding of at least 3" so you want a 6-8" depth with and ebb stick that allows the table to drain back into the res. you need a water pump for this application.

However

hydro is Simply MRE's for plants. (meals ready to eat)

Synthetic nutes. No need for microbial life to break down different hard nutrients.

The roots eat what they need when they need it. Be it n p or k or any of the micros

I was thinking about giving hydro a try in the future, was gonna do a rubbermaid 4 plant grow (or 6). Figure I'll just through a 20-20-20 in the water with a air stone attached to a pump. Seems easy, as I've been having watering problems.

If hydro is an MRE, which variant is the cheese and veggie omelet? :p
