Pandora's Box (Subbcool/TGA) - 8 Weeks Flowering

Grown in organic seedling starter soil.
Fox farm trio of nutes.
250W MH Veg for 6 weeks. Very slow in veg. Topped and bound. Waited for 10" mark to flower. I only started one seed out of the 10 pack, I was lucky. Showed sex in veg.
400W HPS, flower 8 weeks. I expect to give her 2 more. She has been craving nitrogen late in flower. The initial 12/12 stretch from 11" was ridiculous. She is now about 3 1/2' tall. Her buds smell intensely of pineapple, lemon, and heaven. This is the best smelling weed I have ever grown.

Aside from being wind blown, the plant has had no issues.

I will update with dried, cured pics in a month or so.

This is one I want to try. Might wait for single fem, makes buying a lot easier

Big node distances, really grows like a sativa but those nugs look pretty solid too.. this one would have produced more if topped a couple of times in its life. You have a nice pot size there

They mention root mass for Space Queen and I think it would affect most plants based on her. if you have a lot the plant will handle more weight and give better yields. These sound perfect for me, since I want to grow a multi generation plant outside, pruning it back each season, saving months of growth from seed - and giving massive roots.

Thanks for the good replies, all.
Yes, the node spacing is huge and the buds are not particularly dense right now. They have been fattening up recently, but I don't think she is going to have a massive yield. I do think that I will be left with an amazing product that I share with very few people. Smelly, heady, sativa buds!
It smells so damn good, I can't wait till she's cured. I'll hopefully get another burst of flower activity before she starts to decline. Subcool seems to note that the better tasting cuts with his plants tend to be on the earlier side of finishing. I'll see what it looks like in 2 weeks and make my call.

Good luck !! does look very nice for you to smoke :)

^^^ youll b waiting awhile. No fems coming outta TGA.
.. ahh bugger. Well I'll pick up a pack when I get bored of strains. Think I'll go with the mumma though. Space Queen (Romulan x Cinderella 99)

Do me just fine.. I think I might prefer Space Bomb, so I have to decide between them and Pandora's Box.. and possibly The Void. Can't have em all !

Querkle looked nice too ! lol

Wow that thing really stretched, even under a 400hps. I agree probably not a big yield but tasty as fuck. Sometimes that's good to happen.

Looking good! :)

I'm vaping a PB now and have two more in late flower. Potent and trippy, less lemon than JTR, small hard buds, frosty. I'm curing my first JTR and I'm be interested in the comparrison.

I made a batch of brownies with PB Honey Oil (trim), some of the most potent I've made. It's a nice strain but I'm not completely sold yet. One of the frostiest strains I've grown.

nice been looking for a grow report on this strain. can't wait to hear what the smoke is like.

looks dank though man! And yeah, usually the smoke quality of the lower yielders makes up for it.

Are you going to do one of your excellent smoke reports on this strain?

Looks like a nitrogen overdose in there, you have some pretty serious
eagle claw goin on on those leaves... and they are very dark green, i'd
cut back the nitrogen.

I think subcool gotta start improving upon he strains he has now, and create vigorous growing, high yeilding quality smoking buds.

I always hear good things about the quality of bud, but the quality of the plant can lack in terms of nute/enviroment sensitivity, and just overall growth pattern and structure, also the yeild is bad..

Simple rule, if it grows big node distance top it immediately, bend and supercrop (LST), or tie the thing down. Its a tree used to high light conditions (hence the non dense foliage, slower branching and thin leaves)

If it branches like a mofo and has fat indica leaves, obviously being indica from the mountain regions with less light, it craves light and produces branching to boot. So yield is automatic. Any hybrid which grows like an indica will also give good yields:hump:

Most people I see complaining, are growing sativa-like, sativa dominant plants, straight up, and expecting yield. Sometimes in small pots !!

I'm not sure what the deal is with wind damaged leaves. But they got all bent and weird the same day that I accidentally had the oscillating fan on high, right near that Pandora. The plant has been shedding it's lower leaves like a mad man late in flower. I'm doing half doses of nitrogen to keep it from eating itself alive before it's done. It has showed no adverse signs otherwise.

I'm hoping that she packs on a little more weight before the time comes. I'm expecting another surge soon.

I wish the internet had smell. This thing reeks sooooo good!

To the others that grew PB, how many weeks of flower did you give her total? I'm coming up on 9 weeks.

Got a scope ? always the best way to tell ! even a 10x magnifier.. even a little hand held 3x does OK but you really wana see whether most of the trichomes have gone milky

I hope so quietgardner, but I'll have to grow out my best pheno at least once more - I'm not getting what I want from how I've grown/cured the strain: not potent enough, not mood lifting enough; causes anxiety.

Here's a quick blurb I wrote on Pandora's Box, Jack The Ripper and Jillybean. I've got lots of PB curing, hopefully I've grown some first time worth writing a full report on.
