He's still fun Watch him and Growmau5 and the rest each week on the grower's roundtable, on Crazydago's channel on youtube, also he's doing regular updates on youtube in his own channel.

This is the only place he's not participating, and frankly I don't blame him (and he's not the only one, plenty of "regulars" have given up on this place). There's an expression "voting with your dollar"...well this is a similar idea - "voting with your time". Some people would rather participate in places which are more professionally run.

If the sites' mods, admins and sysops wanted a site where people and their work were given a modicum of respect, they would have the same system of warnings, suspensions and bans that other forums have - and people would have to behave themselves. But they don't have that, or for that matter even a set of clearly defined rules, no faq, not even a page that shows users how to progress to various user levels.

Anyway, no sense turning this into a thread about rollitup complaints...its been done before

Instead of whining, have you ever considered appreciating the mods around here? Maybe you're more trouble then you're worth.
From what I can see, every time someone calls you out on your BS, they've ran to delete anything so you stay shining & the truth doesn't get out there. They've been protecting you for ever just so you can dump on them & everyone else with your hypocritical lies & deception.

Hey bro, I think you 2 guys were just talking past each other. You didn't realize this actually wasn't gg's thread (understandable, since it is called pacific light concepts ) He was pointing that out by showing you the OP's Instagram acct where he is more active (and yes OP stands for original poster - since I get the feeling you're not 100% aware of all the internet slang )

Then when you replied to him, he thought you were insulting him in some way, so he brought up a few things like hijacking a thread.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it, it was all just a big misunderstanding, and now we can all go back to being best friends. GG just needs to smoke a bit more of that rosin he's always pressing.

BTW that's a goddam beautiful plant! Do you still grow the chemd?

Does anyone have any suggestions for strips that would be comparable to the Pacific lighting concept booster strip? I have reached my limit of patience for Pacific light Concepts. I've been on the notification list since June and wasn't notified when they had the pre-sale for their strips and now I have to wait for the next batch. There's no guarantee that I'll get that batch either. So God damn frustrated with that goddamn company and I've been mother f---ing them all day. I just want to build this freaking light.

Maybe start another thread: red sup strips alternatives, cause it feels quite hard and shitty to recommend something else on Ggs thread. Hes allways been allright with me.

Edit: tag me in a new thread, i got some ideas, all due respect gg and congrats with killing it with your strips. Enjoyed the last grow on youtube, it would be great to see you back here if you can muster the patience.

the good news: gg was informative & helped us all years back, all the while being a trendsetter with cobs. plc was great, i have the first cx300 & about four different cxp 250's. when one of the cxp's driver went, they replaced it no questions asked, free shipping to & from.

here comes the bad news: even though i shipped my cxp to them in the original box that was sent to me upon purchase, my light returned with a dent in the housing & the cobs now seemed much dimmer. i asked gg's partner about the light being dented, and got no response. no worries, i'll roll with the punches.

here comes the worse news: even though my original cx300 which was the first light plc produced was out of warranty, gg & crew told me to ship it back to them to fix the switch to turn it on. again i sent my light to them in the original box that it came in when i purchased it. once it arrived gg & crew asked the normal questions & repaired the faulty switch, & cleaned my fans. never once asking for any type of monetary compensation. upon receiving my light, it also had a dent & now one side of the row of 3 cobs did not come on. i dont know if the dents are attributed to them prying the case open from the silicone bead they initially seal it with, or just negligence. the dents are not from shipping because the exterior of the box shows no damage. i know cobs are a thing of the past, but these cob leds should last me a good 5 years, so i dont feel the need to rush & buy the newest iteration of led tech. even though i did not buy 20k of lights like some of the bigger production guys, a few grand worth of lights is still a good way to show support to someone who you watched start with the drone & apache vs hps.

Hey man. Sorry to hear you're feeling that way. I can tell you 100% that the dents were not caused by PLC and all your lights were fully working and undented when shipped back to you. Warranty units are ran for 24hrs and cycled on/off before being shipped back. I know PLC immediately offered to fix the cx300 again that was dented and half working, and still will, but got no response from your end when they asked if you wanted to have PLC ship it back after they asked you to check the connections since you had the reflectors off in the pic you sent. Just to add, all new reflectors were put on with the service too.
All the rest, yes, they fixed and cleaned, then shipped back with no request for compensation, even the out of warranty. The side that is out must have been caused by the same UPS guy that dented the unit, and could even just be a loose connection more than likely since it was clearly dropped. So they asked you to check the connections and you did, but no other response to shipping it back to plc. Again, it did not happen at PLC because if it did, they would have just replaced the whole housing, and wouldn't send you a dented unit. It's lot easier and cheaper to replace a housing then to ship it twice and to do extra labor. Regardless, PLC would fix it again, just have to respond and say yes and they will send you a return label.
