Pablo's Socal Balcony Grow

Very nice man, it's great you're able to salvage the plant without having that many issues. Plus the stagger in harvest helps you not be burned out on trimming. Heres what my plants are looking like now. The afghans are frosting up real nice..

Nice work pablo, them curing buds look like some dankness.
and good call on dividing up the trimming - there's no need to cut it all at once anyway, and the smaller buds definitely fill out more once the big ones are gone

Thanks guys, I saw some more rot today which will be removed tomorrow. I'm thinking the rest of the plant may be ready to be chopped by now. It'll be nice to get the remainder dried and into a curing jar(s).

Thanks Big, yeah it's been nice not having any marathon trim sessions. Those Afghans look awesome, as does the back row.
Thanks man. I got a clone of my Strawberry Cough vegging in the tent. I want both because I didnt like how the orig. reacted to the cloning. I'm going to veg it out about another week and then I'm flipping the switch even though I got the autos still in there. Should of started all my fem plants later so I would have the room and so my autos would have been further along. No biggy though, it will be a good experiment to see what happens to the autos under 12/12. I care about the other plants more anyway. Not really a loss at all, the seeds were those free replacements, and I've found autos are really not the way I want to grow. I'm sure even under 12/12 they will yield something decent by the looks of them now. If I were going to grow autos again I would have it planned out to where they would be within 3-4 weeks done and then start some fems up. Live and learn.

I think you should be proud, you've had to deal with alot of shit and still are managing to grow yourself some great medicine. You did a good job of staggering it out and now it's time to finish up. Cheers man!

Hey Big, thanks so much. It appears to be partly overcast for the next few days so I will start harvesting the remainder of the Kush.

I bet your autos will be fine under 12/12. I browse the autoflower thread sometimes, and people will grow under 12/12 conditions when the plant is "stuck" and not flowering. In a perfect world, I would never grow another auto, but I refuse to grow indoors and my outdoor conditions are limited. Even a regular plant grown 12/12 from seed will produce better than an auto.

Sweet man, thatll keep ya good for a while right?! I'm gonna order those scissors, they look like they would be great for trimming.. I saw them on another thread too. Since you are done, I might just start a thread for my grow. Wont be a journal, but ill start something in Indoor. Enjoy your harvest man!

Those are nice scissors I purchased from Home Depot. Billcollector has a nice pair which look easy to use and comfortable. He only paid $4 for them, mine were much more than that. Check out the last few pages of his journal where he posted a video of some trimming.

Yep, I bet I have enough to last for close to a year or thereabouts - even considering I share with some friends. That won't stop me from making the occasional trip to a dispensary to pick up a nice Sativa.

If you start a thread I'll follow your progress. Thanks for your comments, and best of luck with your grow!

Glad you were able to ride these last few weeks out, looks like that KK gave you a pretty decent yield. Attitude is giving the Kandy Kush away as a freebie right now, would you grow the same strain again, or recommend others to grow it?

Despite being a relatively small plant, it produced plenty for my needs. I would definitely recommend it. It packs a punch and the Indica/Sativa hybrid nature of it is nice. Unfortunately, I haven't found a decent journal on here that shows what this strain can do if grown without restrictions.

I had hoped to have pics of everything dried and into curing jars by now. . . but they don't feel dry enough for jarring. It's been 11 days now, but the weather has been cool and rainy. I like them to be a little crispy on the outside, but it just hasn't happened yet. The stems aren't even breaking like I want them to. Just keep waiting, I guess.
