p/h caulsing nute loc and i burnd um :{ a few q's

im a newbie and i im using mirical grow organic soil {the orange bag}
a 600w hps , a 42w cfl and seeds from some mids.

im now about two months in to growing them and the plants r like 3inches tall{stunted}

a month ago i notced they were yellow so i bought botanicare nutes and burnt um .{i think the m.g. had nutes already they were locked out becuz of the p/h}

it turns out my tap water is horible almost 8 on the cheap aquarium ph tester i bought so i switched to walmart distilled water its around 6 . the runnoff seems to have lowerd sence the switch

im wondering if use the wally water only from now on will they get better
or should i ditch them and start new?

i read fox farm has good dirt.

btw are botanicare gro, karma, bloom ,cal-mag, hydro-guard,and the salt leech [cant remember the name} any good?
am i on the right track ?

yeah, keep using the distilled water at least until they recover. but I would say to ditch them and start new. you'll probably have hermies anyway if you've stressed them out.

The MG organic soil is crap the only soil MG has thats good is the Moisture Control soil. I use it for all my soil plants.Big thing with MG is to make sure you water with water that is exactly ph 6.8 or you ll lock up the plant and it will go yellow on you..No nutes til heavy in flower then only potassium and phos no nitrogen

wat do u recomend to start new with?

wat kind of soil? i mean.

update im going to flower the new crop soon i didnt ditch the stressed out batch and the new one's cought up ... bought a general hydroponics p/h starter kit, transplanted to happy frog and every one's growing
