Ozone Levels To Kill PM?

I've been battling a pm problem.

* I have great ventilation. In fact, it's way overkill.
* Humidity has been super low so far. Not an issue.
* I'm increasing the # of circulation fans in the room. I notice that the pm only grows on the side of a plant that is facing away from the circulation fan/s, like moss on the shady side of a tree.
* I spray with Neem once a week on plants that don't have mature buds.
* I've also been using a sulfur burner, but appears to have been nothing but a stinky waste of money.
* I can't use systemic magic mystery sauces, since I'm doing hydro in a sterile H202 system. The H202 would also kill the good stuff fighting the pm.

So, I just picked up a Uvonair UV80H ozone emitter to help with the problem in the room.

Room is 10 x 10.

What is a safe level of ozone for in room with budding plants in it?
I'm thinking of running it once per week at a level that would be dangerous for me just to get the pm under control, but don't know how high to run it do not damage plants.
I'm thinking that a regular maintenance cycle wouldn't need to be set as high as these first few treatments.

Up to know, I've only ever considered using a ozone machine in attic to kill smell. Never though of using in room before, because I know it can damage plants, and rob them of their funky smell and taste we like.

Anybody ever use one to kill pm?

I would put it on a timer starting with 15 mins ever hour and work up if necessary

works in theory but not in reality.

full cleaning, bleach solution on walls. get numbers down. its in the air period. and conditions on that spot are condusive for spreading.

dehumidify anyways. foliar feed with either a acidic soluion or heavy base solution. preferrably BASE. high alkalinity will kill the spores and its roots. years ago I used to even spray a milk solution for PM.

I've been doing a lot of research the past few days, and haven't come up with much.
So far, the best advice is that if you can smell the ozone, it's too high. Just don't know if that's too much for plants or just humans. Here's the link.

"No More Bud Rot

An ozone generator can save crops from botrytis and other pathogens, even if it’s already started to weave its gray web around plants. It does this quickly without adding any toxic chemicals at all. Here’s how to go about it:

• At the first sign of mold, physically remove any infected material from the room.

• Switch off your extractor fan but leave your circulation fans running. (You will need to set a timer to switch your extractor back on in about 15 minutes).

• When using a 400-mg per hour generator, try running it for 30 to 45 seconds per square meter of enclosed grow space and then switching it off. If you have a machine with a tube outlet, you can attach it directly to a circulation fan for maximum spread.

• Leave the extractor fan off for 15 minutes afterwards, but make sure the circulation fans are moving lots of air around inside.

• After the extractor fan has been on for 15 minutes, open your tent and look at the mold. Instead of looking a vibrant, fluffy gray, it should now look brown, crusty and dead.

• If mold is more progressive, you may need to run the ozone for longer. For serious infestations, run for up to an hour without the extractor on.

• Dispose of any previously infected matter. Although the mold is no longer active, it shouldn’t be ingested.

Inspect every plant thoroughly, and if there is any mildew alive, repeat the process. Be aware that building up too high a concentration of ozone in a room can cause plant damage to the stomata, resulting in burnt leaves, especially at the tips and wider shade leaves closest to the generator. There have also been reports of it damaging the delicate trichomes with major overuse. Tread carefully, using it sparingly yet often to prevent contamination, and you will be OK. You might have to toss a few plants if they were infected already, but it will not spread and you have saved your crop from death or early harvest. Check your plants for new mold thoroughly every day for a week, and if you spot any new stuff, repeat the process.



Battle Spider Mites

Spider mites spread fast and are tough to beat. A higher level of ozone will break down the respiratory systems of spider mites and kill them. Be warned that the levels you need to run ozone at to kill spider mites may cause plant damage, but spider mites will cause worse damage.

In Conclusion

Ozone is a wonderful tool for the hydroponic gardener. If treated with respect, it can troubleshoot many problems and maximize efficiency in a growroom."

Fighting it now. Thought of everything. Uvc light, ozone, actinovate, serenade, aspirin, h202, pm wash, green cure, neem oil, sm-90, raw milk & water, silica or 10 ph, 4 ph foliar spray you name it. So far I'm keeping it from spreading in flower and I've kept it away from veg altogether.

So far the only thing I haven't tried of those things was the ozone and uvc light. To afraid to run ozone (3500 mg/h) and haven't bought a uvc light yet to try.

What's worse is I run a perpetual garden so that makes it extremely hard. I will say that I'm not to sure how effective bleach and h202 is at killing spores. If you have an opportunity to take down the room clean with physan 20. Spray with an atomizer in places that you can't clean well. Get trinity tr to fog with also. Just don't use this stuff near any living thing.

If you can start preparing treating everything with actinovate or serenade or both. They are the two best organic preventitaves.

you have to remove the optimum conditions. get humidiy as low as possible. kill the spores the best you can. Ozone is not gonna be a cure all.

I run ozone all the time. look up ozone generator on ebay and get a decent used one. prozone lil black ones are good for small spaces.

prozone units wont kill garden overnight. You will notice rust spots and speckles long before it gets bad. for humans, it irritates the mucous membrane. eyelids, nose, mouth. you would have to have a larger unit on full blast before it hurts you.

I dont work in same room for more than a few minutes. never bothers me. smells like thunderstorm

Foliar water:alcohol 3:1 this kills mildew vegetative mycellium. Interesting shit if you wanna focus on your veg area
Foliar Epsom salts (S) at +0.25- 0.3 Ec will inhibit the expression of this mold on a white plant for 2-3 days. Pump sprayer. Spray calyxes
Foliar garlic extract. Keyword is allicin which is gonna inhibit spore germination. Plants aerial biomass works like a filter sieve.
Foliar Potassium silicate (6$L). is a physical barrier like many others
Rootzone: acidic silica ---> mineral magic from ghe, this means.. health
Lowering rh forces sporulation
